"One of nicest bunch of staff have met at a hotel. Very hardworking, diligent and actually care about their guests. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the pool and gym were excellent. Only issue was on checkin as it took a very long time as a couple guests were having payment and suite issues. Parking is close by, food in restaurant was perfect and breakfast had a lot of choices. This hotel takes good allergies super serious and lots of dairy gluten free options available- we were sad to leave"

"Everything was great - no issues. Car parking was also well integrated but it appeared to be only 24hr blocks. Might be handy if you arrive early to be able to get 26 or 30 if exploring the next day. Room was large and airy, nicely decorated and bathroom was clean and well appointed with everything you need. Only thing I couldn't locate was info about mini bar and if the water in the fridge was complimentary or chargeable. I'd happily stay again."

This budget-friendly destination offers great value for money, making it a fantastic choice for travellers on a budget who are keen to indulge in a rich blend of heritage and culture.
  2. Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: Hotels.com may help you discover attractive discounts for Gloucester. Begin by checking the DealsOpens in a new window section, where you could find hotels offering competitive rates. If your plans are flexible, the Last-Minute Deals section may provide timely offers near your travel date. Additionally, the Smart Shopping feature on the app is a handy tool to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you're more likely to see a favourable option when availability changes. 3. Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate based on various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates could help you find a more affordable option for your stay in a Gloucester hotel. If you're in search of a distinctive experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and may offer better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we’ll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher end, we might suggest alternative dates that could help you discover a better deal.
  4. Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre generally tend to be pricier; however, with Gloucester's superb public transport connections, you might find a more likely affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well linked. For those keen to discover alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
