I felt very unsafe here. I arrived after dark, and there was a disheveled looking person standing in front of the front door, and didn't move to let me in. I went back to my car, and several homeless people walked by and stopped and stared at me. After about 10minutes, the person finally moved away from the front door. Room was clean, vending machine was out of water

We did have a clean & comfortable room as well as a quiet evening to sleep. However, the numerous homeless people across the street made for an uncomfortable walk to eateries as well as concern for our vehicle in parking lot. Don’t expect to use the pool… looks like a war zone.

Unfortunately, this hotel was a disappointment. The surrounding area felt very sketchy and unsafe, with several people loitering around the property. One individual even wandered into the lobby while I was trying to enjoy breakfast, which made for an uncomfortable experience. To make matters worse, I woke up to find ants crawling on my Stanley cup! The hotel itself is very outdated, with only one elevator and a stairwell that had an unpleasant odor. The one bright spot ywas the staff. They were absolutely wonderful—kind, welcoming, and genuinely appreciative of their guests. I almost felt bad for them because they were doing their best in a property that clearly needs some serious attention. While I truly appreciated the hospitality, the overall condition of the hotel and the surrounding environment would keep me from staying here again.

Not the greatest neighborhood, but the bed was clean and comfortable, however the floor was filthy (as my husband had white socks on and they were black). A lot of humidity in the room and it seemed damp. Went down once to ask a question to the person working the front desk - nowhere to be found. Also asked later about pizza places - he mentioned Domino's(?) but we found a Pies & Pints a few blocks away (which was really good!) Picked this place because it was close to 77 and it had breakfast, but not sure I'd stay here again.

Overall our stay was perfect. The bed was very comfortable, room was clean, no issues at all. Only thing I noticed was we stayed on the 5th floor and when entering the hallway there was a very strong smell of cigaret smoke. There were not smoking rooms, so my guess was a guest ignored this. I was traveling with a child and it was perfect for a quick overnight stay at an affordable rate. Staff at the front desk were great.

Parking is free but its a small lot. There are tons of homeless people so safety is a potential concern. The room was clean and the bathroom was nice. The front desk staff isn't very friendly. The location isn't bad. Its about a ten minute walk to the civic center and mall. Overall its an ok place to stay for the price but if you can find something similarly priced I'd encourage you to do so.
