The Collingdale Guest House

The Collingdale Guest House

8/10 Good
"A traditional B&B in a Victorian terrace, with clean, spacious, comfortable rooms. There are a lot of stairs and it’s uphill from the town so not suitable if you have mobility difficulties. Breakfast had lots of choice, with good vegan options too. We recommend taking up the option of paying for their private parking as there was never any space on the street."

Mullacott Farm

Mullacott Farm

10/10 Excellent
"This place is a hidden gem. The farm is quiet and peaceful despite being just off the main road. Our room was clean and large, with a double bed and single bed, plus as it was on the ground floor it had access onto a terrace and picnic bench. Only issue for us was a rather thin floor which meant we could hear every footstep from the room above, but not a huge issue and I doubt there’s much that could be done about it! Would definitely stay here again."

The area offers great value for money, and prices might drop during these months, making it a budget-friendly option for visitors.
  2. Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: Hotels.com offers a variety of opportunities to save on your trip to Ilfracombe. You may discover enticing offers in the DealsOpens in a new window section or find attractive options in the Last-Minute Deals area if your travel date is near. By enabling email alerts and push notifications, you're more likely to see flash sales and special promotions. In addition, use the Smart Shopping tool on the app to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you are promptly informed when rooms become available or prices drop.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices may differ depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year, so being flexible with your dates could help you save on your stay in an Ilfracombe hotel. For those seeking a unique experience, boutique hotels might offer a more personalised touch and potentially better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will indicate if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average, and if it appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest more affordable dates to help you find a better deal.
  4. Consider your location: Staying nearer to major attractions or city centres can offer convenience, though it usually comes at a higher cost. For more affordable rates, you might consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between price and ease of access to your planned destinations. You could also explore independent hotels situated further out, which are more likely to be affordable while providing a more authentic experience.
