The Anchorage Hotel

The Anchorage Hotel

8/10 Good
"So glad we chose to stay here on our short visit to Anglesey. Our bedroom was so lovely with great views. We enjoyed a drink in the hotel bar in the evening. Everything was spotlessly clean and the breakfast buffet was perfect. Thanks to the staff for making us feel very welcome. There are parts of the hotel which need some TLC but I’m sure the new owner has all this in his future plans. Would we return again? Absolutely."

The Boathouse Hotel

The Boathouse Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"This is an older hotel, in a lovely spot next to the harbour, nice places to walk. The staff were super helpful, getting a taxi for the morning afterwards and the restaurant menu had several great choices for both vegetarian and Celiac (gluten free) clearly marked. A really good choice of dishes all round, to be honest that all sounded excellent for a small hotel, surprisingly! I had the salmon and it was delicious!"

A stay of at least 2 to 3 days is perfect for exploring key landmarks, historical sites and cultural attractions, including the ferry, sea, port, gardens, islands, relaxing walks, secluded scenery, and birdwatching opportunities, all of which offer great value for money.
  2. Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: For a trip to Holyhead, you may discover enticing hotel deals by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window section on Hotels.com, where discounted rates are available close to your travel date. 3. Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year, so being flexible with your dates could help you save on your stay at Holyhead Hotel. For those seeking distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels might offer a more tailored experience and potentially better value. 4. Consider your location: Opting for accommodation near major attractions or city centres may provide convenience, but it often comes at a higher price. For those seeking more budget-friendly options, it’s worthwhile to consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between cost and accessibility to your intended destinations. You might also look into independent hotels situated a bit further out, which are usually more likely to be affordable and can offer a more authentic experience.
