Gargee Grand Patna
"Location is good room is clean. Food options are less need to improve"
Taj City Centre Patna
"Truly Amazing property, really outstanding!! A very new and gleaming hotel, but not impersonal and feels warm and inviting. Room is outstanding, the usual very high Taj hotel quality bed (best ever), spotless bathroom, stunning roof-top pool, and nice (free) sauna and steam room attached. I had the evening buffet and, honestly, it was one of the best meals I have ever had in a long time in India, and I've stayed in hundreds of five-stars for work and pleasure, many in India. The price is so absurdly low, for any Western visitors, it makes it unbelievable value. I thought it was a mistake first, when I was also getting breakfast included (that was also superb). You would pay at least five times the price for this quality room and food in my home country. All staff great. Only down-side was that it's not near the more historical part of the city. I thought I would get a chance to visit the famous Gurudwaras, between flights, but not enough time, with traffic etc. But only minutes from the new Patna airport which is amazing and so easy to get around as not too busy yet. A great gateway location for sure."
Hotel Sharda Residency

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Patna
- Book for the cheapest times: For budget travellers, the months of April, June and September offer a great opportunity to explore Patna on a budget, as hotel prices may drop to lower prices during these times. For a visit focusing on landmarks, history and culture — including monuments, libraries, temples, golf, boating, natural parks, museums, churches, cathedrals and river attractions — a stay of at least 2 to 3 days is ideal. This affordable period provides great value for money while allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the rich heritage of the city.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover last-minute deals to Patna on Hotels.com, visit the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals section, where you may find discounted hotel options as your travel date approaches. Consider enabling email alerts or push notifications from Hotels.com to receive updates on flash sales and special promotions, ensuring you may not miss opportunities to save. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool available via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, helping you make informed choices. With these features, you're more likely to stay updated on your preferred hotels, making booking a last-minute getaway easier.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate due to factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates may help you find a better deal on your stay in a hotel in Patna. If you're seeking a unique experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and could offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest alternative dates that could be more affordable, assisting you in your search for a great deal.
- Consider your location: Staying nearer to key attractions or city centres can offer convenience, but it often tends to come with higher costs. For more affordable options, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between price and ease of access to the sites you wish to visit. You might also look into independent hotels located a bit further out, which are more likely to provide an authentic and budget-friendly experience.
