Hartland Quay Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"Loved everything about the property. Loved all the walks from the property. The walk to the waterfall was amazing. We are vegetarian and we had a number of choices to choose from. The room was outstanding. Breakfast was outstanding. Every last thing was a 10 out of 10. We had no clue what we were getting into when we came. Everything blew us away. Wish we could have stayed longer than the one night. Seeing I am an American the drive to the property was out of this world. Don’t know how I made it without a scratch on the car."

The Waterfront Inn

10/10 Excellent
"We found the stay very enjoyable. The hotel was in an excellent location for the local amenities and the beach. Parking was never a problem. There were plenty of places to eat and drink, both inside and al fresco. We particularly enjoyed the Thatchers cider. Everywhere was very clean and all the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. We would be very happy to recommend your hotel to anyone we know going to Westward Ho, and would like to return one day."

8/10 Good
"Very nice room with sea view, unfortunately very steep stairs to get there and as suffering mobility issues, not the best, although staff were not aware. Breakfast excellent, and evening meal for 7 highly commented on favourably, hot plates and food. Unfortunately a bout of food poisoning occurred overnight, although the source cannot be confirmed but suspected. Would recommend and stay again. Chair to be placed in room in September after renovations will be a bonus."

"Arrived late at our stay and then realised that we had in fact booked for the weekend after! Disaster after a 6 hour drive and very little options. We apologised and explained the error to our host. Amazingly and also luckily the host immediately went to work setting up an alternative glamping pod for us to stay in. The place was immaculate, hosts are extremely friendly and everything about the trip was perfect and as described. We will certainly be returning."

This duration allows visitors to discover the charming small-town ambience, picturesque countryside, and hilly surroundings. Enjoy activities such as fishing by the marina or even surfing, all while benefiting from budget-friendly options that offer great value for money. Additionally, affordable attractions like theme parks and trendy cafés enhance the experience without straining your wallet.
  2. Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To uncover last-minute deals to Bideford on Hotels.com, begin by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections, where you may discover discounted hotel options close to your travel date. Additionally, consider enabling email alerts or push notifications from Hotels.com to stay updated on flash sales and exclusive promotions, so you’re less likely to miss a chance to save. You can also utilise Smart Shopping , a comparison tool within the app, to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you’re informed about any availability changes or price drops for your preferred accommodations.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates could help you find a more affordable stay in a Bideford hotel. For those seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and potentially better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher side, we can suggest alternative dates that may offer a more attractive rate.
  4. Consider your location: Staying nearer to key attractions or city centres may provide convenience, but it often comes with higher expenses. For more affordable options, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between cost and accessibility to the places you wish to visit. You might also look into independent hotels a bit further out, which are usually likely to be more affordable and can offer a more authentic experience.
