Woodbury Park Hotel and Golf Club

Woodbury Park Hotel and Golf Club

10/10 Excellent
"We loved the golf course views from our room with balcony and the quiet. Ample parking which was great for check in and check out. Great pool and sauna relaxed well- we didn’t feel like leaving the property so cut down our travel time to enjoy there. Friendly helpful staff. Will definitely revisit. Only thing is it’s remote and away from village so eating options limited and have to rely on the property. But I think have to accept that for the tranquility and peace . Will definitely revisit and stay again"

Best Western Webbington Hotel & Spa

Best Western Webbington Hotel & Spa

10/10 Excellent
"Nice hotel a few miles from motorway in very rural setting. You can hear the motorway outside but hotel has good sound proofing. Nice pool that can be booked online for adult swim sessions (up to 4 people at a time) or family sessions. Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is well maintained and I note that the annex is being upgraded. New bathroom decor, roof repairs and USB sockets in power sockets in the bedroom I was in this time. The buffet breakfast is also good."

The Rock Inn Hotel (Pub & Restaurant)

The Rock Inn Hotel (Pub & Restaurant)

8/10 Good
"The Rock Inn is a beautiful, old pub, set in the stunning Somerset countryside. The huge trees surrounding the pub offered fantastic shade during the recent heat wave, keeping my room pleasantly cool. Housekeeping during my stay was not great, but, as the cost of my four night stay was so cosy effective, willing to overlook, but, would have appreciated the bin being emptied at least every other day, a fresh towel every other day & complimentary tea & long life milk being topped up. Really enjoyed staying at the pub, highly recommended."

This budget-friendly destination offers great value for money, making it an excellent choice for those travelling on a budget.
  2. Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To uncover last-minute deals to Taunton, visit the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted hotel rates as your travel date approaches. Consider enabling email alerts or push notifications from Hotels.com to stay updated on flash sales and exclusive promotions, ensuring you’re informed of potential savings. Additionally, the Smart Shopping feature in the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, so you're more likely to see the best options available. This way, you’ll be among the first to know if rooms become available or prices drop, making it easier to book a spontaneous getaway.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate depending on various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, having some flexibility with your travel dates may help you find a better deal on your stay in a Taunton hotel. For those seeking distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and may occasionally offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we’ll suggest alternative dates that could be more affordable to assist you in finding a favourable option.
  4. Consider your location: Hotels located near the city centre generally tend to be more expensive, but thanks to Taunton's excellent public transport links, you may find a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often great value for money to be found.
