Buxton Crescent
"Great stay!"
Biggin Hall Hotel
"I would recommand anyone to stay in this lovely hotel when visiting the Peak District. The location is convinient with plenty of parking, and the staff are all very polite. We had both dinner amd breakfast inthe resturant. We ordered steak for dinner , it was cooked perfectly, super delitious. The breakfast has so much of choices. Also the hotel prepared sandwich box with a bottle of water for all guests too ❤️"
Kingscroft
"Wonderful stay and the breakfast is top class."
The Blind Bull
"If you need a couple of nights away in the Peak District, The Blind Bull is a great getaway. Most of the rooms are in a building a mere 25 paces from the door of the bar! For dog owners choose one of the ‘pig’ rooms as there is a little gravel garden. The owners have thoughtfully provided a little bin outside for any bags. We ate both nights at the pub and you can see why the place is highly rated. It is so much more than ‘pub’ food. A lovely crafted menu and a great wine list. Breakfast is excellent with quality over quantity. Top tip is to make a booking for a table as the place gets really busy. All the staff we came across were polite friendly and knowledgeable. Special thanks to Brooke, Jane Bond and David the manager."
The Queens Head Hotel
"Decent small hotel in Buxton."
Rooms at the Vault
"Perfect for a couple looking for value for money in an expensive town. Spotlessly clean and very handy for the Vault that did a super breakfast choice. Our room was furnished in modern style and comfortable. Tiny criticism perhaps a bit on the snug side. Excellent bathroom and super toiletries, loved it."
Compton Guest House
"Nice big room, quiet area but only a few minutes walk from the centre of Buxton. Street parking but seemed to be no problem finding a space. Eating places including a good cafe with breakfast, and shops not far away. Had a problem getting in. The * after the code number was not very obvious on the email. Tried to ring the mobile that was given but no reply. Eventually we realised about the entry code. We only saw the lady cleaner,no-one else. She was very pleasant and makes a good job of the cleaning. Bed was comfortable , if very high!! Good shower."
Rushop Hall
"Lovely room with a wonderful view. Excellent breakfast."
The Jug and Glass Inn
"Lovely stay, friendly staff and a lovely breakfast."
