Hotel Basera
"Food is excellent, and staff are very very good"
Sterling Darjeeling
"Sterling Darjeeling is a great place to stay for a trip to the area. The location is much better than anything close to the mall. You can avoid all the traffic and noise of central Darjeeling. Views of the valley and surround mountains are great. The staff is very helpful. If you’re traveling from the airport, you will get to the property much faster (hours) than any place close to the mall because of all the traffic even though it’s only a few kilometers away. I would highly recommend Sterling Darjeeling."
Planter's Heritage by Cilantro Collections - Mall Road
"The staff were great. The location was perfect and close to main Darjeeling mall. The floors in the room and multiple junctions in the lobby area are uneven which may cause discomfort and extra attention especially for elderly people."
Udaan Dekeling Resort Darjeeling
"Was not aware that the hotel doesn't offer eggs or alcohol. They should have mentioned on their website, especially for international guests."
The Elgin, Darjeeling
"Building is amazing perched on the hillside and the staff were lovely."

For those interested in distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and may offer better value. - Consider your location: Staying nearer to major attractions or city centres may provide convenience, but it often comes with increased costs. For more budget-friendly options, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between price and ease of access to your intended destinations. You might also look into independent hotels located further afield, which are usually more likely to be affordable and can offer a more authentic experience.
