We stayed 7 nights at Tempo Suites and had a very pleasant stay. While the outside of the building is not very attractive, the apartment itself was surprisingly nice — very clean, tidy, and well equipped. The location is excellent, with easy access to the beach, supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, and Malta’s National Aquarium. Communication with the host was great via Expedia’s message portal. We visited in December and found it mostly quiet at night, with some noise from nearby pubs and restaurants on Fridays and Saturdays until around 11 pm. Overall, a great base in St. Paul’s Bay and we would happily stay here again.
