Mr. Lai was the best host! Rooms are clean and comfortable with great A/C. Mr. Lai responds to your requests in a timely fashion. The rooms are very private, and you can use the kitchen anytime you’d like. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe, comfortable and well taken care of. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful.

The place is cute and great for the price we paid per night, especially backpackers and those on a budget. The place does need some love. The AC in our room was leaking water every time we turned it on. We had a lake on the floor by morning. There was no designated shower. We had to stand in the tub and use a hand wand, there was no enclosure so we had to be mindful not to spray all over the floor. It was rustic but cute. For someone on a budget, its worth it if you can have a regular shower. It is remote and you need to take a GRAB to get around.
