Golden Sands Resort Motel

Golden Sands Resort Motel

8/10 Good
"Location was awesome, right on the beach. Rooms were clean inside and beds comfortable. The pool was refreshing and well tended. Staff were helpful and friendly. The price we paid was 1/3 of the motel we stayed at last time( with no pool!)right next door! The only negative was the exterior of the entire resort was dirty and decrepit. Hiring a pressure washer and a painter would do wonders. It would definitely make financial sense . I would definitely return as the many positives massively outweigh the one negative. 4⭐️ out of 5"

This duration allows visitors to enjoy the local wineries, take in the stunning natural beauty of the lakes and mountains, partake in wildlife experiences, and engage in activities like kayaking and biking. With various festivals and a charming marina, Penticton offers great value for money when it comes to cultural and natural attractions.
  2. Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: For those planning a trip to Penticton, Hotels.com may offer appealing options. Begin by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window section and consider checking the Last-Minute Deals for discounted hotel stays near your travel date. You could also enable alerts to receive notifications of flash sales. The Smart Shopping feature, available via the app, is a useful comparison tool that helps you evaluate hotel prices and amenities, so you’re more likely to see a beneficial rate change. This approach allows you to stay updated and may help you secure a last-minute getaway.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate due to factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates could help you find a more affordable option for your stay in a Penticton hotel. For those seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and may offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If it appears to be on the higher side, we can suggest alternative dates that may help you find a more favourable rate.
  4. Consider your location: Hotels located near the city centre usually tend to be pricier; however, with Penticton's outstanding public transport connections, you might discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well linked. For those interested in exploring alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value to be had. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
