Practically everything was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful, facilities and rooms etc all excellent. The evening menu in the restaurant was also varied and good. It’s also great that that there is dedicated secure cycle parking. The only slight negative is that the breakfast is on the expensive side if you don’t want to have the cooked breakfast component. The ‘continental’ parts were adequate but didn’t constitute great value for £15.00 Also ask for a room at the back of the building if you can, as the road out front gets busy and loud quite early.

I found Bike & Boot Hope Valley exceeded my expectations. Easy parking, efficient check-in and comfortable, clean room (bigger than expected). Place to sit by the window for reading, having a cuppa etc. More than enough storage space (3 large drawers and hanging space). Fridge in room. The shower was good. Cosy lounge for residents with comfy seats and a coffee machine - nice for the evenings. I ate twice in the restaurant in the evening and had good food and service both times - there are lighter options as well as hungry walkers' portions. I cannot comment on the breakfast or the free cake as I did not have those.

Good car park. Spoke to 2 staff that was polite and decent. Helpful with information on bike and walking routes. Smelt a bit like dog wee at the entrance also a broken drain pipe. Bedroom doors slammed shut so could possibly wake u up. All in all fairly decent. Didn’t have breakfast. Got the room for £85 wouldn’t want to pay much more for it tbf. No aircon

This was our second time in the hotel. We asked for the same room (in advance) and we got it . I wish there was air conditioning in the rooms. I love the little tea room with daily cake! It makes me feel like on a skiing holiday in a chalet

Lovely stay. The hotel is spotless. I couldn’t fault the stay, amenities or the staff. They were above and beyond on many occasions. People have said about a breakfast issue previously but I found it to be absolutely fine and that’s coming from staying on a bank holiday weekend. I would definitely go back!

Excellent location, lovely staff and clean rooms with a great shower for post-hike/bike. The rooms were a little hot during the heatwave, even at night where the temperature outside was a good 10 degrees cooler than inside the room. Windows were not large enough to provide sufficient airflow I think The restaurant was not worth the price - there are plenty of fantastic, cheaper options in the nearby hathersage/hope area. The location is fantastic, with frequent buses and plenty of hikes. Bike rental was also great. A fair price and very relaxed check-in / check-out experience. Overall very good, would stay again.

Lovely vibe, staff are great and friendly, happy to chat with guests. The gentleman who changed are room was very helpful as we requested to move to the other side of the hotel, away from the road (light sleepers) and they were happy to help.
