Brilliant place to stay!

I had a fantastic stay at Yttervik Camping (well, more like stunning apartments). The location is absolutely beautiful — right on the fjord with breathtaking views, especially at sunrise and sunset. It’s a peaceful and well-kept site, perfect for relaxing after a day of driving or exploring northern Norway. The cabins were amazing - clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and the shared facilities were spotless. The staff were welcoming and went out of their way to ensure everything was in order. It’s a great base for visiting Mo i Rana and nearby attractions, but also a lovely destination in its own right. We are even returning for two nights on our way back to Oslo. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others travelling through the area.

The family room we stayed in was amazing with floor to ceiling windows overlooking a fjord. What I did not expect was that this location is actually located within a campsite and this was one of a handful of cabins located on the same property that camper vans stay for holiday. With that in mind, it was less than convenient for finding a bite to eat as it was about a 20 minute drive into the nearest largest town. That said, the views were amazing and if you are looking for a place that is peaceful and understand that limitations, it is still worth staying at for multiple days.

Yttervik Camping har en helt majestetisk utsikt over Ranfjorden - bedre utsikt skal man lete lenge etter i Rana. Området er nydelig, rolig og svært idyllisk. Hytta var pent oppusset og forholdsvis moderne, men badet holdt en betydelig enklere standard og kunne absolutt trengt en modernisering. Renholdet var stort sett greit, men det var litt støvete, særlig på kjøkkenet. Balkongen hadde dessverre mye edderkoppspinn og edderkopper, og vegetasjonen utenfor bar preg av at det var en stund siden den sist ble ryddet. Sengen var helt grei, men virket å bestå av to enkeltsenger med et stort gap i midten, noe som ikke var særlig ideelt for et par. Det finnes gode fasiliteter som kajakk, båt og badstue, men prisene var etter vår mening i høyeste laget. Frokost og middag måtte bestilles på forhånd, og vi savnet muligheten til å kjøpe et spontant måltid på området. Heldigvis var kjøkkenet godt utstyrt med blant annet kasserolle, stekepanne, kniver, skjærefjøl, servise og et relativt stort kjøleskap, så vi fikk laget oss en god middag. Innsjekking og utsjekking var svært enkelt. Hytta var godt skiltet, kodelåsen var lett å bruke, og parkeringen lå praktisk til rett utenfor. Stedet var også veldig hundevennlig, rommet var relativt godt lydisolert, og vi hørte lite støy. Vi møtte ikke personalet og kan derfor ikke uttale oss om servicen. Til tross for noen forbedringspunkter hadde vi et veldig fint opphold. Beliggenheten og utsikten veier tungt, og vi kommer gjerne tilbake!

Dette føles litt som en kombo av hotell og camping med det beste fra begge verdener! Veldig fint rom med kjøkken og fantastisk utsikt. Dessverre var det ganske vått og grått, men i finvær skulle jeg gjerne ha bodd her i flere dager. Veldig enkel og fleksibel innsjekk og utsjekk. Går fint å bo med hunder. Vi har bodd her 5 ganger og kommer tilbake!

Bor gjerne på denne campingen igjen. En hel rekke med hytter som har fantastisk utsikt ut mot sjøen. Ønsker man noe ekstra, har de 4stk signature«hytter»(3pers) og 2stk igloer (2pers) med panoramautsikt. Campingen ser godt vedlikeholdt ut. Av aktiviteter tilbyr de sup-board, kano/kajakk og enkel mini-golf. Pr.juli26 har de ikke ordning for el.bil-lading, men Mo i Rana ligger ca15km unna, med både lademuligheter og kjøpesenter.
