If you want that local island feel this is the place to stay there was a little misunderstanding with our airport taxi one call to Keith the owner & a taxi came within mins to pick us up when we arrived at the apartment Keith was there to take us to our unit nice ,clean & quite with a balcony about 5 mins walk to the beach lots of trees & greenery about 10 mins walk to the main road you can take the bus ($1:75)to parts of the island but can’t say enough about Keith kind, friendly thanks Keith will satay again

St. Lucia experience

Keith and Sabine were marvelous hosts. They gave us directions to go exploring to all kinds of wonderful secluded places that we enjoyed. The first morning of ours day they took us and all the other people staying at their property out for breakfast at Marjorie's, which was on the beach. And we got to eat breakfast local Style. The little apartment that we had was very very very clean. It contained everything you would need to prepare your food including a very nice refrigerator with a freezer and a beautiful microwave and coffee pot and toaster. The bed was too hard for my liking. As I like the softest bed you can get. They provided all your towels and kitchen towels and beach towels. The pool was nice and the property was only a 2 minute walk to the beach and is between two resorts so you have a lot of beachfront to use. We took a nice walk one day and discovered a beautiful snorkeling Beach that we had all to ourselves. Ask for directions. The Gardens at espoir are absolutely gorgeous. Quaint little walking paths run through the property. Our little apartment had its own balcony and there were wash line provided with clothespins to hang your wet things from. I can't say enough nice things about this place if you are thinking about booking this it is very good value for the price. And if you ask a day ahead of time they will make you a continental breakfast in the morning and serve it to you in their beautiful balcony space.

We just returned last night from staying at Hotel Espoir for 25 days. The property is set in a very beautiful garden on a hillside. The patio from our studio had a view of this tropical oasis and the aqua colored Caribbean sea with St Lucia's town of Castries in the distance. Our morning coffee every day had this view and it was priceless. Added to this was a small pool to dip in if you got too hot and an ocean as warm as your bathtub you could swim in less than 5 min walk away down steps and a hill. The clean room and kitchen in the studio was well stocked with necessary utensils and we were able to cook anything we wanted. Small grocery store was within a 15-20 min walk away down a hill then level most of the way. The property owners, Keith and Sabine, were warm and friendly. They were willing to help you out with whatever came up! I will miss their open friendliness and many kindnesses! So if you decide to go, go with a spirit of adventure and do explore using the local transportation which was easy to get around in to local areas.

Sehr schöne und ruhige Lage mit tollem Ausblick von unserem Apartment im obersten Geschoss. Sabine und Keith haben uns sehr freundlich empfangen und uns über Sehenswürdigkeiten und Aktivitäten in der Umgebung informiert und standen jederzeit für Fragen und Tipps zur Verfügung. Unterhalb des Apartmenthauses ist ein sehr schöner Strand, den man zu Fuß in ein paar Minuten erreichen kann.

Beste Adresse für Selbstversorger

Mein Partner und ich hatten einen traumhaften Urlaub im Apartment Espoir! Das Palm Cottage war der perfekte Rückzugsort, liebevoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was das Herz begehrt. Highlights waren der große Balkon mit Blick auf das Meer, der kleine Pool direkt vor der Haustür und der wunderschöne Labrelotte Bay nur ein paar Schritte entfernt. Sabine und Keith waren die perfekten Gastgeber! Allzeit erreichbar und stets bemüht, uns jeden Wunsch von den Augen abzulesen. Wir hatten einen späten Rückflug und die beiden boten uns an, bis zu unserer Abreise im Cottage zu bleiben, da es für diesen Tag noch nicht gebucht war. Unglaublich nett! Das Grundstück befindet sich in Hanglage und ist eingebettet in einen verwunschenen, tropischen Garten, welcher liebevoll angelegt ist. Man fühlt sich wie im Paradies! Zwar gibt es viele Treppen zu erklimmen, aber das hat uns überhaupt nicht gestört. Es gibt vielfältige Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants nur wenige Autominuten entfernt. Zur Not lassen sich ein kleiner Supermarkt und ein/zwei Restaurant aber auch fußläufig erreichen. Alles in allem die perfekte Adresse für Selbstversorger mit Auto! Vielen Dank liebe Sabine und lieber Keith für diesen unvergesslichen Urlaub!

The hillside position of Apartment Espoir over looking the Caribbean Sea provides stunning views however for travellers with mobility issues it should be noted the postion could be challenging both on the grounds and walking to and from the beaches below. A rental vehicle or willingness to hire taxis to get around would be strongly recommended. The local "mini-busses" are numerous and very inexpensive. Finally the proprietors are very knowledgeable, extremely helpful and ; like all St. Lucians; warm and friendly. Two thumbs up.

Un bel endroit avec de belles personnes

Sur l'endroit; Idéal si vous voulez être au nord près de Rodney BAY. L’avantage est d'être plus au calme, mais il vous faut une voiture. Vue magnifique du balcon de la chambre. Piscine agréable, et petite plage à proximité. Voiture louée sur place Insonorisation pas terrible (chiens,voisins) mais en vacances c'est acceptable. Ajouter peut être un rideau occultant au dessus du lit. Appartement tout équipé pour faire ses repas et déjeuner en terrasse. Au vue de nos visites on aurait dû choisir un logement plus au sud de l'île mais ici on était tellement bien. Sur les propriétaires: Voyager autour du monde, c'est pour rencontrer l'humain. Leur gentillesse, l'accueil, leurs sourires tout était parfais. Merci pour les conversations, le partage. Merci pour votre aide pour nos démarches et votre bienveillance. Great place to stay in St Lucia. Indeed a short 3 min walk to the local beach and a small but nice pool on the property. It’s an apartment so don’t expect high end luxury. Terrain around is steep and rocky so I recommend sneakers. But it’s lovely, clean, and well kept. The service is beyond amazing. Keith is awesome. I already promised I’d come back and stay here!

Petit studio simple mais très propre. L'accueil du proprietaire a été parfait dès le début nous avons eu un problème avec la voiture et il est venu a notre aide tout naturellement grace à lui le problème a été rapidement résolu. Le studio est un peu éloigné de tout et la route un peu cahotique mais de toute manière il est préférable d'avoir une voiture pour se déplacer a sainte lucie donc cela n'a pas été génant. Petite plage à 2 min à pied pour ceux qui ne veulent pas bouger.

Property is fantastic, the use of space is incredible, not overly fancy, but definitely charming. You get to feel right at home! LOCATION! WOW! easy walk to a breathtaking beach! Staff is not only friendly, but sincerely adorable! They will give you your space if you prefer privacy, but will be willing to share some time with you and chat if you want a little immersion in the local culture. I couldn't ask for anything better.

Apartment Espior is in a beautiful and safe location. Your view from the patio is breathtaking overlooking the sea, beautiful tropical trees and flowers, you watch the cruise ships pass by, it’s stunning! You can walk down to the beach or use their bus system, call a taxi or rent a car. I recommend either renting a car or calling a taxi. While you have a stunning view, a private pool, fire pit, and the property is beautiful it is a bit of a hike up and down all the stairs to get to the beach or a bit of a walk up hill if you walk from the street so if you can’t do that everyday I suggest renting a car. I would definitely stay there again! S & R Clark

Great apartment with glorious views

Amazing place to stay and Keith makes the place even more special with his, nothing is a problem attitude. He arranged everything for us and always has a smile on his face. The local people are friendly and accommodating. Our apartment had everything you could need and was immaculately clean with the most stunning views. The terrain is a little steep in parts but didn’t cause us a problem.

Property was very clean and tidy. Keith was very friendly and welcoming. Great view of Castries. Be aware that there is no restaurant on site. The closest is a 10 minute walk away and with breakfast from a reasonable US$12. There are also no groceries within walking distance. Wifi is good but drops occasionally. If you are looking for a couples getaway and have rented a car, this is the perfect place.

The appartment is comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen, access to pool and 5 minutes from the beach. It has a wonderful view of the sea. It is clean, comfortable and quiet. The owner Keith is most hospitable and eager to help: he arranged airport pickup and checked me in early. I had most pleasant 2 days in Espoir, relaxing and carefree. Note to future guests: the Windjammer Resort next doors has restaurants where one can eat, but if you are lazy to get out, stock up on groceries on your way from the airport. Peter, the taxi driver, will take you to the supermarket to get your groceries

Beautiful space. For a small fee, we enjoyed a wonderful continental breakfast which included delicious local jams, juices and fruits from the property. Keith was a fantastic host. The Superior apartment is the perfect size with a very comfortable bed and gorgeous ocean views. This place met my expectations. So sad that I couldn’t stay longer, but will definitely book again!

Exactly as described and thoughtfully decorated space. Plenty of room to spread out not only in the apartments and patio, but around the entire garden/property. Keith was a terrific host.  He helped with my luggage, provided a wealth of knowledge about the island and went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay at Apartment E’spoir.

Keith was a great host, he arranged for our trip from the airport, took us for pizza one night, & treated us like family. We didn't do anything special while we were there. We were just there for 4 days before moving on to Windjammer, which is basically right next door. The beach(by East Winds), is about a 5 minute walk away. There is a nice little pool to relax at also. Another perk was meeting his 2 dogs, Peaches & Sweet Girl. We are animal lovers, so always enjoy meeting
