Clean and spacious room - we had a king suite which was absolutely huge! The room had a refrigerator and microwave, and the bathroom had a double vanity. The hotel location was very convenient, right next to a Metro station but we didn't hear any noise from the passing trains. There's a lot to do in the area - restaurants, bars and coffee shops nearby, but also not a too far walk (about 1.5 miles) from the Capitol and some of the Smithsonian museums. Great place to stay in DC!

The serving staff in the on-site restaurant and bar were exceptional. The front desk kept me informed about room availability and contacted me for an earlier check-in when a room became available. There was only 1 mirror in the room with 2 queens, making it difficult to get dressed and do makeup because you had to wait for the bathroom to be free, or you had 3 folks trying to stand in front of the one mirror Other than mirror, all was good. Great location next to the train station, and places to eat nearby.

Our stay at the courtyard Marriott over July 4 was great. The location, next to the metro station, was very convenient to all DC activities. The staff was very nice and friendly. There were some air-conditioning issues in the main spaces, but the rooms were perfectly cool. As a family, we will definitely stay there again.

The room and bathroom were very clean. The bed was really comfortable and the bedding and linens were clean. The Smithsonian and the National Art Gallery buildings along with other sites were within 10 to 40 minutes walking distance. Since we enjoyed walking and looking around we only got Ubers a few times for places that were over 35 minutes of walking. You’re not going to get much of a scenic view but if you like people watching, you’ll be fine. I like that the elevators are up to rooms require you to use your key-card, which is a nice security feature. If you’re not supposed to be there, you won’t get far. And there’s also personnel in front entrance lobby making sure randoms can’t in. They lock the doors at 12am and someone is there to make sure key-card holders are the only ones coming in. Too many places don’t have these security features, which is important for safety and security, and especially in these big city areas. The only thing I can complain about is NO continental breakfast, you have an extra free for it. But that seems to be the case for mostly all hotels in the area from many that I scoped/ checked out.
