"Beautiful rooms, wonderful and kind staff, great location, updated and modern, eco-luxury. Would stay again and highly recommend!"
Mantra Esplanade
"Great place to stay and very convenient. Pool was a bit dirty but everything else was good"
Cairns Colonial Club Resort
"I stayed in the superior room downstairs as I am unable to manage stairs. The room was awesome, but walls in this resort are paper thin as I heard every movement from the room above me and every room door slam shut, every single time. I - however closed mine gently it is possible maybe put signs up behind the doors to close gently. I have stayed also last year in the garden room and same issues but I generally loved the resort and the amenities available in the same place. A couple more disabled parks would also be good."
Crystalbrook Riley
"Excellent in all ways - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay"
Rydges Esplanade Resort Cairns
"Staff were friendly and helpful"
Shangri-La The Marina, Cairns
"We loved the central position to everything in Cairns, plus a beautiful view. Rooms very clean and fresh. Thought the hotel was dated and the swimming pool and surrounds need updating. More lifts are needed in hotel, such a very long walk to our room from lifts. But as said, the best position in Cairns."
Ramada By Wyndham Cairns City Centre
"Great location great staff"
Cairns Harbourside Hotel
"Nice views good location"
Bohemia Resort Cairns
"The room was spacious and accommodated our group well. The stove, TV, and fridge were all working properly. Having two toilets and a bathroom was also very convenient and useful for the number of guests in our group. Secure parking within the property was another positive, although there were not enough parking spaces available. Unfortunately, the unit felt quite outdated and appeared to need better maintenance. The beds were uncomfortable and seemed to be sinking, and the shower head could not be adjusted or moved. One particularly disappointing experience was when we asked for milk and coffee at around 7:00 am. We were told by the staff that no service was available until 8:00 am. Overall, while the unit was spacious and had some useful amenities, the outdated condition, lack of maintenance, uncomfortable beds, limited parking, and poor early-morning service made our stay disappointing."

During your time in this tropical paradise, you can explore stunning coral reefs, lush rainforests, and enjoy friendly tours that offer activities like swimming, walking, and rafting. This budget-friendly getaway ensures great value for money while immersing you in the natural beauty and rich heritage of Cairns.

Additionally, the Smart Shopping feature in the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, helping you make informed decisions. By staying alert to price drops or availability changes, you could seize the opportunity for a spontaneous getaway to Cairns.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate based on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates might help you find better value for your stay in a hotel in Cairns. If you're seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and can occasionally be more cost-effective. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If it appears to be on the higher side, we could suggest alternative dates that may offer a more favourable rate.
- Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre usually tend to be pricier, but thanks to Cairns's superb public transport connections, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well linked. For those wishing to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value to be found. Opting for these alternative locations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
