my parents had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Florence, just steps away from the Duomo — the location couldn’t be better! The rooms are surprisingly spacious, clean, and very comfortable. This was our second stay at the same hotel after a long time. We chose it again because of its central location and being close to the central train station (about a 15 min walk). The Duomo is a few minutes away. The reception was very welcoming and let us keep our luggages as our room was being prepared because we arrived early. The room we got was spacious (family room) with an en-suite shower. The toilet was a shared one. All in all it was clean and well-maintained. The building is 500 years old and it is a very different experience overall to stay in it. The only downside I could say is the noise from the street during night time, I wasn’t able to sleep well because of it. The street seemed quiet so maybe there is a bar/pub nearby. Thanks to Leonardo and the staff who keep this place running.

Nice hotel, with a few small drawbacks

Lovely hotel, in a good location. Only one bathroom on the floor i was on which made things awkward at times. There was often a loud noise from a boiler or something that was one room away from mine that woke me up during the night several times, but otherwise a good experience.
