Lovely welcome from the owner who seems really nice and the hotel is so quirky and the common areas are amazing but the room was cramped, not very clean, very dark and the smell of the drains from the bathroom was really strong. We ended up not staying for the duration of our stay as the photos didn't really reflect what the bedroom was like at all.

Such a charming hotel! Ben the owner is so welcoming. The staff is so helpful. Upon arrival we were greeted like family. Ben mapped out our tour of the city to ensure we saw all of Brussels during out short stay. The hotel decor is so detailed and ornate. The hotel is conveniently located just outside the Grand Place and walking distance to all the sights, restaurants, bars, etc. I would stay here again!

The decor is unusual but very charming, with something different wherever you go. The hotel is ideally located near La Grand Place. The room was basic but clean, with a comfortable bed. They carried our luggage to and from our room since there was a small staircase and the elevator doesn't go to that floor. We appreciated that.
