I love this Hotel because of the location and the practical design of the rooms. Staff is very kind but the rooms need some catching up with retouching used furniture plus thorough cleaning (such as the frames of the beds). You can tell that cleaning staff is overworked/understaffed The situation for Montreal hotels in general is quite difficult right now and inflation has made that this hotel is too expensive for what you get. I would still go back if the prices were more affordable.

It’s a nice touch that they offer complimentary breakfast. However, the selection is quite limited (not even yogurt), and coffee is served in paper cups, which I wasn’t particularly fond of. The rooms look clean overall, but there are a few maintenance issues in the shower, bathroom, and ceilings that could use some attention or renewal. That said, our stay was very pleasant overall, and the staff did a great job. Everyone was friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
