Beautiful hotel, wish we could stay longer

Stayed for 4 nights at end of 3 week stay visiting nearby family. The resort, rooms and restaurants are all very good and we had a lovely relaxing stay. The grounds are extremely well kept and our daughters loved taking part in all the available activities. We stayed in a garden bungalow adjacent rooms on all inclusive package. Rooms were very clean and housekeeping daily was appreciated. The resort is large and spread out so might not be suitable if you dont like walking but this did not bother us. Only minor suggestion we would make is to have organised the Wolmar dining tables better so we didnt have to wait for tables 2 nights. We would happily come and stay again in the future.

Incroyable séjour à la Pirogue

Nous avons passĂ© un merveilleux sĂ©jour dans cet hĂŽtel. Un voyage de rĂȘve. Tout Ă©tait parfait : l’accueil, la prestation de service, la chambre typique spacieuse et propre, les espaces communs (piscine, restaurants), la grande plage privĂ©e depuis laquelle nous regardons les plus beaux couchers de soleil
 Un sĂ©jour paradisiaque que nous n’oublierons jamais. Nous Ă©tions en demi-pension et avons pu bĂ©nĂ©ficier du buffet les soirs (nous avons trĂšs bien mangĂ© et avons pu goĂ»ter Ă  certaines spĂ©cialitĂ©s mauriciennes) et au petit-dĂ©jeuner qui Ă©tait trĂšs complet. Certaines activitĂ©s Ă©taient comprises dans notre sĂ©jour comme le kayak, paddle et pĂ©dalo. L’emplacement de l’hĂŽtel nous a Ă©galement permis de randonner au Morne Brabant qui se trouve Ă  environ 1h de voiture et de visiter la terre aux 7 couleurs de Chamarel. Le personnel est vraiment aux petits soins avec ses clients, ce qui rend le sĂ©jour vraiment agrĂ©able. Il s’agit du plus bel hĂŽtel dans lequel nous avons sĂ©journĂ©, et nous ne regrettons pas d’avoir dĂ©pensĂ© ce prix. Je recommande fortement cet hĂ©bergement.

We thourougly enjoyed our stay La Pirogue Mauritius. The staff were very friendly, courteous, and helpful. The beach in front was amazing. Open buffet offered a selection of local and international dishes, and were freshly prepared and tasty. Overall, if we ever go back to Mauritius, staying here again has a high possibility. The only part I didn't understand and couldn't get an answer to when asked was the fact that while water was available through out the day for free, they are charging about 3 USD at dinner.
