We had a great two night stay at the Renaissance Shanghai Yu Garden. Staff were very attentive and helpful upon checking in, allowing us to access our room earlier than anticipated which was a big bonus. The room itself was clean and spacious, and the views were fantastic. The hotel is located minutes away from Yu Garden, but we found it a good location for the Bund area, and a central location for activities further out, which as Disneyland. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other travellers, especially if they want to be close to some key tourist attractions.

The hotel is well located, few steps from Yu Garden and metro station. Rooms are large, modern and clean. Ask for the room minimum floor 12 or above. There was someone on the first floor renting a space and played loud music till 3-4 am. We asked to move us up, and there were no further issues.

A truly great hotel right in the middle of the city, easy to reach and perfect for a trip to Shanghai! We stayed there in June 2026 and the room was absolutely stunning, great view and the whole hotel was very clean and elegant.
