The hotel is older and they are renovating some of the bathrooms. Ours was not one of them...however it was fine. The staff are extremely helpful and nice. The included breakfast was very good. However the restaurant was very expensive along with the bar menu. The hotel is situated on top of a high hill along a street that is reserved for pedestrians during the day. This prevents any taxis from gaining front door entrance - so we had to climb a high hill with our luggage - very exhausting. I wish the hotel had notified us of this in advance and we could have called them to have one of their electric cars pick us up. Access by taxi is available in the evening and early morning. Given the location, you are within a short walking distance to the Topkapi Palace and Cistern. All in all, the hotel served us well.
