The Marquis of Lorne
"A lovely inn, with nice, comfortable rooms and very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast included as well."
The West Bay Hotel
"Very welcoming and friendly, room was lovely, giant bed, loved the dressing gowns and that I could sign into my Netflix etc on the tv. Breakfast was so good and they were very accommodating, thank you."
Haddon House Hotel
"Overall very good ..a few little attentions to decor maintenance in bedroom ..ie curtain in bathroom hanging off rail ..only a little thing but constructive critisism ."
The Bull Hotel
"A very classy hotel, super helpful staff and good food. Highly recommended"
Hensleigh House
"The room was clean and neat, and this place is within walkable distance of the beach and a few shops/pubs. Staff were friendly and polite. My only concerns were that the bed was too hard for us and there didn't seem to be any air conditioning in our room. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay and we highly recommend it."
Eype's Mouth Country Hotel
"Approached down the sort of steep, narrow and winding lane that makes urbanites nervous, the hotel has a mercifully spacious carpark. Our room was very comfortable. The restaurant was good, and the waiting staff exceptional. Can't really comment on the local amenities: our short visit coincided with very high winds whipping the sea into massive waves so the beach was dramatic and sadly inhospitable."
townhouse bridport
"We booked this stay at short notice as a stop off point on a longer journey. We could not have been made to feel more welcome by Andy, Veda and gorgeous pooch Lily. Veda welcomed us and gave us information about eateries ( we chose Rakhang Thai which was freshly prepared and delicious). On street parking was easy and free a few doors up from the house. Had a great nights sleep in a comfy bed. Lovely quiet location and easy walk to local amenities. Tea and coffee making available in our room. Breakfast and a very lovely chat with the hosts in their kitchen before leaving. Brilliant value for money."
The George
"Great space with excellent rooms. Would come back again and recommend to anyone for a short or long stay. Lovely staff, good breakfast, and plenty of things to see and do in the area."
Monkton Wyld Court
"Overnight stay in a family room. Building has loads of character, room clean and staff helpful. Thanks"

If you’re in search of something distinctive, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and may offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we can suggest alternative dates that might help you find a more advantageous option.
- Consider your location: Choosing to stay nearer to key attractions or city centres may provide convenience, but it often tends to come with higher costs. For more affordable options, you might consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between price and ease of access to the sites you wish to visit. Independent hotels located a bit further out may offer a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
