We had a fantastic stay over a 10 day period, October 2026: Pros: Great pools and bars, breakfast amazing, location close to beach and 7 Eleven, rooms clean with interconnecting option, room service was quick, no undisclosed fees or nasty surprises when checking out, easy to get to Patong via a Grab. Cons: Noisy if you have a room near a pool bar, house keeping arrived very late most days (approx. 4pm), although it can' be helped there was a lot of maintenance work going on which meant noise and access issues, get constantly hassled by hotel workers at driveway to use their taxi's. Would I return.. Definitely

The resort is located perfectly close to Kata Beach, restaurants, pubs etc. It has two pools, one large kids pool and another smaller pool supposedly for adults. For couples such as us, coming here to relax, we found it quite difficult as the smaller pool does mot explicitly say adults only, so there were kids absolutely everywhere you go. Otherwise we had a good stay, lovely staff and great service.

Loved the stay here location was beautiful booked sea view. Welcome juice and snack with towel were just what was needed after our journey! The view was gorgeous, room was big a/c great, shower and soaps great. Stocked mini fridge for purchase. Outside balcony chairs sturdy, comfy and private. Pool and pool bar fantastic. I would definitely stay here again

Overall, we had a good stay at Chanalai Garden Resort. The service was good, and the location is excellent — very close to the beach. However, we booked a double bed room, but initially we were given two single beds combined together, which was not very comfortable. After we requested to move, the hotel kindly gave us a room with a real double bed. It would have been better if this had been arranged correctly from the beginning. One small suggestion regarding breakfast: we noticed quite a lot of birds coming to leftover food on the tables. It may be better to clear used plates more quickly. Also, for unoccupied tables, perhaps the cutleries could be placed later when guests arrive, as some birds were sitting on the forks and spoons. I think this would make the breakfast area feel more hygienic. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the friendly service.
