Hotel Palma
"A lovely hotel with nice rooms and bathrooms, view was lovely from the side sea view rooms too but we didn’t have the window or blind open much due to the heat so probably not worth it. Lovely beach and wonderful service on the beach but one downside we weren’t expecting was we were not allowed to use the beach after we had checked out as we were ‘no longer guests of the hotel’ - disappointing as we had planned transfer for mid afternoon so had to go elsewhere after check out."
Ollie's by the Sea
"We had a wonderful stay at Ollie's (family of 4 with two teenage kids)! Staff was very helpful, incredible view to the bay from the room, which is very modern. Restaurant was excellent; the only detail is that we had a dinner that took a pretty long time to be prepared, but we were not in a hurry. Breakfast was wonderful: besides a lot of good options, the room has huge windows where we could soak in the beautiful environment. Made us want to stay just to enjoy it! We loved the two decks with lounge chairs, umbrellas and access to the bay water across the street, and had a good time basking in the sun on them. Location is fine due to the view. It's not super close to the most interesting spots, but it didn't really matter to us because we were planning to drive anyway. The under-hotel garage worked well and was easy to park. Highly recommended! (Just be prepared for the dreadful traffic in Kotor, if you are going to drive)."
Casa Collection
"The main selling point for the property is the view, which is incredible. I loved watching sunset from my balcony every evening and enjoying use of the pool. However, don’t be under the illusion that this is a hotel complex. It’s very much self catered apartments and is really in the middle of nowhere to some extent. There’s no main reception, it’s just a room with a sofa and quite often there was no one there when needed. They were quite responsive via WhatsApp but could’ve done with someone there more. There’s also no on site facilities such as food/store and a taxi into town costs around €25 one way a lot of the time depending on traffic, so my taxis back and forth got super expensive. Therefore I wouldn't book this place unless you have a car. Nothing was really explained to me at check in either so it was only on my last day that I realised the onsite restaurant that they talk about in the description is in a neighbouring hotel. All in all, I still enjoyed my stay but could have done with more info at check in such as local amenities/shops etc and a main staffed reception area. Granted the building is super new, so maybe some of these things will get better over time. If I came again I would either rent a car to stay here or book somewhere in the Old Town where you can walk everywhere."

Lazure Hotel and Marina
"Beautiful hotel, we received delicious macarons upon arrival (better than Laduree!!) and a glass of wine / lemonade. The receptionist was amazing, very kind and helpful letting us use the beach before checkin. Breakfast delicious and good variety. It was a pleasure to stay there."
Bayview Hills Luxury Residences
"There were a few issues with the room, safe wasn't working on our arrival but staff fixed it quickly. The room was in need of some TLC just a few tweets and it would have made all the difference. IE: more cooking utensils, a microwave and a toaster.some extra plates and cups etc. The room also just needed a good clean as was dusty but minor issue. Staff were friendly and helpful. Entertainment would be great as in the evening if you want to stay in thereis just music in the background and you have to get taxis to the old town etc for bars and restaurants. Very pleasant stay. I would just stay biggest tip- budget taxis into your stay €20+€25 per trip to town."
SIRO Porto Montenegro
"Best hotel ever"
Regent Porto Montenegro
"Beautiful hotel, amazing location with incredible views. The pool and spa facilities are fantastic and the rooms are large and spacious. Lots of great restaurants and bars in the immediate area."
Casa Manor Boutique Hotel
"We have had a wonderful time at Casa Manor. Customer service is excellent, nothing too much trouble at all. Perfect location, great rooftop area and fantastic breakfast and dinner! Thank you for a wonderful stay."

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Tivat
- Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit Tivat is during January, February, and November, when hotel prices are generally lower. For those wishing to immerse themselves in the area's rich history and culture, a stay of at least 3 to 4 days is recommended. This duration allows visitors to explore key landmarks such as the marina, charming small towns, beautiful gardens, and trendy museums. With a focus on budget-friendly options, Tivat offers great value for money, making it an excellent choice for those on a budget. Additionally, prices for accommodations may drop during these months, providing even more incentive to enjoy the breathtaking scenery and cultural treasures this destination has to offer.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: Hotels.com may offer various deals to help you save on your Tivat stay. For those seeking spontaneous escapes, the Last-Minute Deals section could reveal discounted rates on nearby hotels as your travel date approaches. You’re more likely to see flash sales by enabling email alerts or push notifications. Additionally, the Smart Shopping feature in the app is a useful tool that allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring that you can quickly spot the best offers when last-minute availability or price drops emerge.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates may help you find a more favourable rate for your stay in a hotel in Tivat. For those seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised touch and occasionally offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher side, we may suggest alternative dates that could be more affordable, assisting you in your search for a better deal.
- Consider your location: Opting for accommodation nearer to key attractions or city centres may offer convenience, but it often comes with increased costs. For more affordable options, you might consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between price and ease of access to the sites you wish to visit. You could also look into independent hotels located further out, which are usually likely to be more affordable and can provide a more authentic experience.
