I've always stayed next door at the Alfaccio building. Decided to try Legatio this time and was pleasantly surprised. Similar layout but was way cheaper than the previous stay. I'll be coming back to this location again really soon.

The hotel has no human workers. The check in process is on line. The room was very large by Japan standards. It has a full kitchen and laundry machine in the unit. No dryer but with the summer heat, line drying clothes was fine. Furniture is basic but again, normal by Japan standards. Air conditioners worked well. Very good value for the price.

We really enjoyed our stay here. A very nice layout with a practical kitchen. We had trouble with the room tablet that gives the WiFi info so we messaged the property and the responded within minutes. Very walkable area with plenty of food and entertainment options. The check-in process was annoying and took 10-15 minutes, which was way too long for an automated process. I had to re-enter my personal details into the tablet, and then the communication with the remote agent made it start over. Otherwise, the room is very spacious and comfortable for two to three people, and there's a nice balcony overlooking the river. The restroom area was clean and had everything you needed. The mattresses seemed very used or older, but they were sufficient for the one-night stay. This place would be good for a longer-term stay.

A bit dirty in the room. Some weird brown stains on the kitchen wall and quite a bit of dust. In spite of that we enjoyed our stay here. This is our second stay at this hotel and we plan to return. It’s a very bright apartment like room with an excellent view. Very relaxing place to stay and close to everything. You can even walk 15 minutes to Hakata Station.

It's a staff-less hotel, so be sure to read all the messages before you go. It was nice overall specially for the price. It was a small apartment type, with a sofa and a big TV with paid Amazon Prime and some sub channels. Other good points - Clean bathroom and toilet. - Quite area, quite apartment. - Nice view to the river Bad points - Robe or pajamas are not included. - Free Internet was a little bit slow.

Seems like a new apartment building. Apartment size is excellent for 2 persons, but for more occupants with big luggage bags, space will be tight. Nice canal facing. Disadvantage: only 1 elevator, so if it breaks down or there’s emergency, it’ll be terrible. Thank God, we had a something-going safe stay.

We wanted to stay close to “Yatai” ( venders on the street and Canal City (one of the famous shopping mall in Fukuoka) and the hotel more like condo was located on the perfect spot with a reasonable price. The front desk was very friendly and the room had very comfortable setting. If I visit Canal City again, I definitely stay at this hotel.

There was dust and dust bunnies on the tv and closet. The beds were uncomfortable (slumped in) and the linen looked wrinkled and just had us question if they were even switched. We could hear the water and other noises from the unit above. Also our room was directly facing a cemetery, with it being New Year and all it was disconcerting given our culture. It would have been good to know prior to our stay. At least then we could ask to change units. Overall the unit was spacious and well equipped.
