We stayed here in Feb of 2025 and loved it then for location and service. The rooms have been refurbished and so this latest stay was quite upscale. Great shower! Fabulous buffet breakfast! Helpful front desk staff.

First of all, the staff at La Fortezza are welcoming, helpful, and are very accommodating. The hotel was spotless, our room very comfortable. We had a safety issue with the rental car the evening we arrived. Upon check-out, staff allowed us to store our luggage for an extended period of time, offered us bottled water free of charge as we waited 3 hours for Autovia to send a tow truck. La Fortezza receives a 10 from us. I highly recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel La Fortezza. The rooms were clean, modern, and spacious for 2 - 3 people. The beds and linens were luxurious. The breakfast was good and plentiful. We walked to most of the sites we wanted to see or took a short taxi ride when we were too tired at night. I highly recommend the hotel.

The hotel and room were pristine! Very beautifully designed and maintained. We stayed only one night, to catch an early flight out of Florence but wish we could have stayed longer. We walked to a local restaurant and felt very safe- it was a residential area. The bus line ran along the street but we walked

Very nice, well maintained, very clean hotel. Breakfast was good. Breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms well maintained, clean and spacious. TV options were good, smart tv. Front desk staff were not too helpful, gave incorrect information regarding taxis. Location was 2 bus stops from train station with a less than 5 minute walk to the hotel. No one in the hotel to assist with luggage, had to carry up the main stairs to check in but had an elevator to your room.

10/10 Exceptional

Staff was awesome. Checked us in quickly, contacted cabs for us when needed, pointed out the train station which we used often, recommended places to eat, and best of all provided a needed corkscrew for the copious bottles of excellent wine or beer our group consumed. They even researched train options to Rome termini and airport, so we would not miss our flight, due to a rail strike the day we traveled home.
