Parking is extortionate £20 for 24 hours or so with no mention of this on website or app. Never before have i had to pay for parking to this extent at a hotel in its own grounds. Not even any discount as we are blue badge. Receptionist was abrupt nearing on rude, sent us to the wrong floor for our room and seemed to have no interest. Its a shane as the room was spacious and bed comfortable. Will absolutely never return to this hotel.

This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, the only good thing about it were the friendly staff! The floors were dirty along with the bathroom. Bed sheets were ok. No food or leisure facilities but you can use their sister hotel which is marginally better. I would never stay here again

Hotel ok but dated. No food served, we had to go next door for breakfast or dinner. The weather was good, but if it had not been it would have been awful. Rooms very dated, I couldn’t take a shower as the controls were so old and stiff I couldn’t budge it. Reported to reception who tried it but still stiff. Bed comfortable, good to see fans in the room. Some ceilings with stains and cracks. Very old bath and surround. Amenities in hotel next door good, but could never get a sun bed as the pool was used by two hotels’ guests so very crowded. Towels left on beds etc to “book “ bed for the day. Some of the staff very brusque, others very helpful and friendly. Would not stay in the Eastcliffe by again, but would the Carlton.

Pool closed, any food you had to get from sister hotel. Tried to get ice for my drink I had but at 22:20 was told bar closed so said just need ice but apparently no ice and was advised to go to sister hotel! Hotel currently undergoing renovation I believe and our room was in nice condition and bed comfortable and for what you can pay ( only paid £42 for 1 night) and had a double room with part sea view I think it’s definitely worth the money. Would consider staying again but if you can afford more then worth staying at sister hotel The Carlton as pool and restaurant open.

Outside of hotel very shabby, inside looked a lot nicer. No facilities such as catering and spa etc all had to used at their sister hotel next door. Offered sea view room at additional cost, which we did not require. When we got to our room it had a sea view anyway. Room was a good size and clean and comfortable. Parking on site offered as available on arrival yes parking available at £20 per day, no fee was mentioned in the advert, so would have been nice to know in advance, no reduction for guests staying at hotel…

Room was beautiful and the gentleman at the check in with glasses was so welcoming and really lovely and kindly and showed me to the sister hotel so nice of the gentleman generally all the had a lovely welcome so what can I say fabulous
