When we arrived at the hotel and were given our room key we let ourselves in and other guests were already assigned to this room! The staff quickly fixed this issue but it was a safety concern for us. The room was lovely, very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. cleaning staff were very efficient. Lifts are terrible, very slow and not all working. Breakfast was nice on the terrace and lots of choice but the same each day.

The room was of a good size, and the location of the hotel offers great access to public transport. Breakfast was good and varied and the 9th floor terrace has great views. There were a couple of less positive aspects, though. We were visiting during a heatwave, and at times the A/C in the room was barely keeping up. Also, out of 3 elevators, only one was working reliably (one has been broken during the entire stay, and another one was on and off) - for such a large hotel with 9 floors, it created unacceptable waiting times. But overall, we had a good stay; it was nice to be walking distance from most things we wanted to do.
