Extremely easy to get to as the hotel is connected to the station. Turn left at the north exit and walk straight till you see the hotel (you will walk past a Pokemon Center on the way!). The staff were helpful and friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortably sized for two. The hotel is also near quite a few shopping and dining options. Would definitely recommend.

For those planning to make day trips, the location is absolutely fantastic, right next to the Shinkansen station. We only spent one night, but we had a wonderful stay, very convenient. We had left some important documents in our previous hotel in Kyoto, and the staff at this hotel were fantastic, arranged for the documents to be shipped overnight, very courteous, very helpful.
