This is a pleasant hotel to stay in. Good local restaurants, convenient to Arundel Mall and to Adelaide Oval.Lots of interesting walks nearby. The hotel is old but very well maintained. Good size rooms and a comfortable bed. There is an excellent bar and breakfast was better than most (the sourdough rye bread was delicious). Highly recommended.

I stay often as it’s convenient walk to the places I need to go in the cbd and the rooms are spacious and large bathrooms with a bath! The beds are also very comfortable not to soft which I love I always have a great sleep and quiet rooms highly recommend and they have a deal with the Wilson car parking on hindley street which is a very short walk behind the hotel one st back. Great restaurants on site to and walking distances for other choices ☺️

Great hotel located almost in the heart of the city. Good location if you are working north of the city - its easy to get to that part of town from the Stamford. Clean, modern rooms and you can walk to almost all of the CBD easily from this location. Many places to eat at all hours of the day - again within an easy walk.
