This hotel is very close to the city center, making it super convenient to go anywhere. Moreover, all the staff are very enthusiastic and the service is excellent. Both the front desk and the luggage reception service are superb. The staff responsible for cleaning the rooms on the fifth floor also do an excellent job of keeping the rooms very clean every day. Major love for this hotel! Right next to a street of great dining options. Our room is spacious, toilet is superb - comes with 2 sinks, a tub, separate showering and toileting area. Not mentioning the polite and friendly staff there who made our stay even more at ease and enjoyable. Lots of good food around too. 2 convenient stores within 100m from Hotel Hotel staff offered to change my room to 1 with a king size bed with living room when my twin beds room is too size for a family of 3. I thought this hotel was a great place to stay, especially if its your first time in Chengdu. Its got a great location near the metro, IFS centre, chunxi lu and taikoo li. I'm not sure if it was an upgrade but the room was so big and spacious and was really well maintained. Staff were friendly even and tried their best to speak English which was greatly appreciated. Can't fault anything about the hotel!

Originally I booked by myself for 9 days including breakfast. However, my wife wishes to join me on this trip after my Expedia booking. When we arrived, we were told since I booked originally as one person, extra breakfast would cost $80 yuan per day. Most other hotel would waive the cost or charge a more reasonable $20 yuan. Even so, I still have to argue with the attendant every day at the restaurant entrance that I already have paid extra for my wife the very first day I checked in and I have to show them my Wechat record that I indeed have paid. Very very annoying.
