Little Red Rooster Rest and Spa

10/10 Excellent
"The host Marion was delightful to deal with. Prior to arrival I phoned to query why I had been sent a bill for an additional charge over and above what I had already paid. Marion explained it was because Expedia keep making errors with the rate and I needed to pay more, however after a bit more discussion Marion was quick to say she would honour the price I had paid on Expedia . When I saw the room I can see why it should have cost more . It was spotless and comfortable which made me more than happy to follow the instructions about taking shoes off before walking on the new carpet and being carful about getting water on the bathroom floor. This hotel is a dog lovers paradise. Marion clearly loves dogs , and kindly made sure her dogs didn’t attack ours"

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Tenby

  1. Book for the cheapest times: Visiting Tenby in January, February, or November may offer a more affordable experience on a budget, as hotel prices might drop to lower prices, making it great value for money. For exploring key landmarks, history, and culture including attractions such as churches, fishing, golf, cathedral, port, and ferry, a stay of at least 2 to 3 days is ideal. This budget-friendly period could offer an excellent opportunity to appreciate Tenby's rich cultural and historical heritage without compromising on comfort.
  2. Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover last-minute deals for hotels in Tenby, begin by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may find attractive discounts as your travel date approaches. To enhance your chances of securing a bargain, enable email alerts or push notifications for updates on flash sales and special promotions. Additionally, consider using the Smart Shopping tool via the app, which allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you're well-informed about options. By staying vigilant, you're more likely to catch the best opportunities for a spontaneous getaway.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates could help you find a more favourable rate for your stay in a Tenby hotel. If you're seeking something distinctive, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and may offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher end, we may suggest alternative dates that could lead to a more attractive rate.
  4. Consider your location: Staying nearer to key attractions or city centres may provide convenience but often comes with a higher price tag. For more budget-friendly options, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between cost and accessibility to the sites you wish to visit. You might also look into independent hotels located a bit further out, as they can offer a more authentic and usually more affordable experience.
