The lodge is well located to town. Staff are fantastic and helpful. Breakfast was lovely with a really good variety of options available. Good size car park. Hotel is on a hill, walking into town is fine and a short walk - its a good leg workout on way back! Could do with a bit of lighting on the pathway down from hotel as at night its a bit dark getting back. Overall cant go wrong staying here.

I was really impressed with my stay at the lodge. The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly and welcoming, and they went above and beyond to help in every way they could. I Received a friendly welcome from the receptionist who explained all the amenities and timings for breakfast. The lodge is just a short walk from the reception if you dont get parked at the lodge there are 2 other car parks either down the drive or up at the golf course. The spa pool,sauna and steam room as well as the gym and gym classes are free to guests. The gym is supervised though on this trip I didnt use it. Breakfast was really nice and has a good choice cooked to order. Staff at breakfast were very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and was very clean with a modern bathroom. The Lodge itself is within walking distance of the town centre and parks. Bit further to the beaches which you can get to through the park or take a taxi. Bournemouth town has shops bars and resturants to suit all tastes. Overall I enjoyed my stay and the friendliness of the staff and amenities were brilliant.

Parking a bit awkward at times. Not always a space outside Lodge. A lot of traffic along path to reception, so had to take care walking between lodge and reception. Room was on first floor, through two doors, spacious, with view over golf course. Big bath/shower over bath available. Very big, comfortable bed. No proper wardrobe. No clothes storage apart from a flimsy hanging device. Often noisy in restaurant (groups of men talking loudly). Might have been better to have separate time slot for other Hotel guests. Good menu, food, and service. Breakfast was good, apart from fruit, which was past its best/poor selection.

The lodge is a separate building as part of the golf and leisure club. The location is great for Bournemouth, just a ten minute walk to the park and restaurants. We stayed in room 9 which is on the golf club side of the building, very quiet at night, but you are on the ground floor next to where the cars park. It is also on the driveway into the club, so can be noisy in the morning. The rooms at the back face the dual carriageway, so may be noisier at night, but I don't know The room was clean although a little tired, it could do with some TLC on the desk and bedside tables. The staff were great, very helpful. The gym and pool looked fantastic although we did not use them. We had a meal in the bar as we arrived late, staff very accomodating, meal was good but nothing special, but served a purpose. If I went to Bournemouth again, I would happily stay here.

The Lodge rooms are a small cluster set within the grounds of a golf club and health club. To have all these amenities makes it exceptional value for money. My only gripe was how close the front doors of the rooms were to each other and the communal doors - making it not feel as private as a normal hotel. But that’s just a personal preference.

Checked in early afternoon spa and facilities were available to us but chose to go for a walk to the seafront. Lovely location, quiet room was excellent spacious with a huge bed and clean,tea and coffee making, good bathroom. Parking outside or in club car park a short walk away. Pulse bar pleasant but beer quite expensive. Excellent breakfast, full English for me, eggs Benedict for my partner. Staff all very professional and polite.
