Checking in before arriving was simple enough, although slightly annoying having to scan a form of ID for all guests, seems a little over the top for a one night stay. Property was very clean, good location and had everything needed for a nights stay. Some slightly dubious looking stains on chairs that could do with a deep clean! Otherwise all good

Booked at the last minute on a trip to Nottingham, Usually use another local hotel but decided to try this as looked amazing, I hadn’t read the terms and conditions so the £250 deposit came as a shock ahahaha but was refunded much faster than I was expecting, Would I stop again 100% beautiful location and property, Not all apartments had a balcony but I choice the one that did and loved sitting out looking out of the city with the odd plane flying overhead… so glad I decided to stop over the night.

Hidden gem

Fabulous place , Jeff the host was so accommodating. A real hidden gem in the heart of the city. We stayed in the Linen suite and it felt like our own little 5* apartment. You also get 20% off all food and drink at the adjoining bar which was a bonus.

Perfect Apartment in Great Location

Absolutely lovely stay in this very comfortable and clean apartment. It was small but just the perfect size for me and much much better than a hotel room. The location is perfect too. So close to bars and restaurants that are literally on the doorstep. I will definitely look to stay here again if I’m staying in Nottingham

Location is convenient to the train station. No reception but management is communicative and helpful. Suite was large and well decorated/equipped. As is sometimes the case, bathroom ventilation wasn’t great so bathroom smelled a little mildewy. Aside from that, room was clean and comfy. Recommend!

Really lovely stay in Torchon. Perfect space for a couples getaway. Surprisingly well soundproofed. Nextdoor bar could be heard but not invasive at all. Slight downer was an issue with a leaking pipe causing the water and electricity to fail Sunday morning. Very impressive recovery! A large team were onsite immediately fixing the problem. Only a minor inconvenience that could have been much worse. Lovely room, comfy and everything we needed. Highly recommend

We were in the rooftop attic room. Pro - hotel is in a very good location, convenient for exploring the town easily. The bathtub and shower were fantastic, great water pressure and temperature. The room itself was clean on arrival. Con - the white furniture and bed headboard are quite stained and filthy looking. The hotel owner needs to get it professionally cleaned or replaced. One of our lamps didn’t work, the towel rack was broken and wouldn’t heat up. Room needs some upkeep, definitely didn’t feel like a romantic get away due to all these factors.

It was clean and easily accessable. Quite quiet too to say in the centre of Nottingham. Had a view of the castle. However, There were no draws to put any clothes in so they had to stay in the suitcase or on the floor? Only a short wardrobe so couldnt put a dress in it. No clothes hook to hang a coat off

Great property

The property was lovely, and nicely tucked away near the city centre and overlooking the tramway. The problem with this, though no fault of the owner, was that when an alarm sounded in a building some 100 yards away, it kept us up all night, even with all windows shut. However, the restaurant next door was lovely and ideally placed. The room itself was very clean and had a relaxed feel to it.

My room was huge and very comfy. I do think it needs cleaning a little. Lots of cobwebs in the rafters and the ottoman and stools need cleaning as lots of stains. That being said i would stay again

100% great

We stay in Nottingham a lot and have stayed in all different sorts of places and this was by far the best, very spacious, really good fixtures and fittings, air con unit was a bonus and heated or cooled the room down very fast, the comfiest bed Iv ever slept on. I read some reviews about noise and the smell of smoke, we were on the middle floor and heard no noise at all and the smoke! No idea how you can smell smoke, as the windows don’t open!!! I would 100% recommend staying here and we definitely will be back.
