This hotel have not been maintained for decades. When you finally got in touch with the staff they were very friendly. But both the restaurant and pool bar was abandoned for long periods. I would find another place to stay

Amazing staff

Although the hotel needed some upgrades, it was very beautiful with a lot of special touches. The staff were amazing. They were super friendly and helpful. We had taken a red eye. We arrived at 9:30am and were given a room, which we were grateful for! The Diamante (Diamond) garden view room was about 40 steps to the pool and then stairs to the ocean. The people were friendly. The beach was a bit choppy, but we jumped the waves. We felt safe walking to Soriana at 10 pm. We loved all the kitties, too-no bugs etc.

Beautiful art and view, falling apart premises.

Our view was breathtaking, but unfortunately the owners are letting the place fall apart. AC stopped working in the middle of the night and I cut my foot on broken granite from the bathtub. They’ve let entropy rule day, unfortunately. Hopefully they put a little effort in to fixing up what would otherwise have been a wonderful spot.

The hotel is old and looks abandoned; it should be better maintained. The structure is good, but it needs maintenance. The room is spacious and has a view of the garden and the sea. The bathtubs are unusable, there are rusty fixtures, ripped towels, uncomfortable pillows, and the shower and curtains are old. I recommend it for those who just need to sleep, without luxury. But for those looking for sophisticated accommodation, it is better to stay away. In addition to the cost of accommodation, at reception they charged us a municipal tax for the beaches.
