Royal Bath Hotel

Royal Bath Hotel

8/10 Good
"This is our 3rd stay at this hotel as the location is ideal for us. We’ve stayed in various different rooms, always with sea view. The rooms are hit and miss, the suite we stayed in was amazing with a huge balcony to enjoy the sun, however the double sea view was very dated and the bathroom in particular needs attention. Breakfast is a decent buffet, the outdoor garden area is lovely to relax in with a drink. Staff were helpful and polite. We always park in the car park down Hinton Road it’s £6:40 for 24hours not the £28 the valet parking at the hotel or the car park in the beach front. Car park is a 5 min walk from hotel."

Hotel in a good location if you don't mind a walk through the lovely, well maintained gardens. Hotel does need updating, but that wouldn't stop us staying there again."

  2. Consider enabling email alerts or push notifications from Hotels.com to keep abreast of flash sales and special promotions, enhancing your chances of saving. Additionally, the Smart Shopping feature within the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you’re informed of any changes in availability or pricing. With these tools, you're more likely to secure an ideal last-minute getaway.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on various factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates could help you find better value for your stay in a Swanage hotel. For those seeking something distinctive, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and, at times, greater value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we can suggest alternative dates that might offer more affordable options, potentially helping you discover a better deal.
  4. Consider your location: Choosing accommodation closer to major attractions or city centres may provide convenience, but it often comes at a higher price. For more affordable options, you might consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between cost and accessibility to the sites you wish to visit. Additionally, independent hotels situated a bit further out are usually likely to be more affordable, offering a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
