We chose a standard room this time but were not disappointed. The size was just as good as the superior rooms and with the same facilities. The pool area is great. there were plenty of beds including four posters!. The food is very good. The best thing was the shower which is perhaps the best we have ever had anywhere in the world.

An Average Hotel at best…
This hotel is listed as a 5 star resort solely due to the amenities that it offers.. my room was very old and outdated, bathrooms and ceilings had mold / mildew.. Dinner buffet had a wide variety of offerings; however the hot food was similar to the quality of a cheap buffet in a low quality hotel in Las Vegas., all at a cost of $80 I ended up just eating a small salad.. the other supposedly open a la carte restaurant was the hotel bar that was devoid of people and staff.. Finding English speaking hotel staff was surprisingly difficult with many not knowing it at all, Also all the buffet items were only in written in Hebrew.. While I think this quality of hotel may be typical for Eilat, it was far from being good in my experience..
