The Clarion Hotel - The Hub is highly convenient if you are looking for easy access to the train station, which is literally right across the street! We chose to stay here one night in between flying into Oslo (and taking the train right to Central "S" station) and taking the train out the next morning to head to Bergen. The hotel was also accommodating in allowing us to store our luggage in a secure storage room until check-in time. It is also just a short walk away from top sights including the Opera House and Munch Museum. Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay at the hotel. An amazing selection for breakfast each morning and a charming Barista to make your special order coffee. The reason for a 4 star not 5 was we were looking forward to using the spa area and neither the Sauna or Steam were working. The food selection to have a drink and snack in the rooftop bar was very limited. We didn’t stay to enjoy it because we wanted more of a food option. The location was great, close to the train station which made it easy for us traveling the country.

Room was clean, quiet and spacious. An extra bed was added for 3rd adult guest but very uncomfortable. Small spa was verg nice but with a tiny changing area. Lockers were gard to use due to the totally impractical design and you had to queue at main reception a floor above the spa for a towel while waiting on other guests checking in. Breakfast was amazing, the best part of our stay. Didn't go to bar or restaurant as prices were very steep! Good location, near station but not the nicest views. Overall a decent place to stay in Central Oslo.

This was a very convenient hotel to stay at. A short walk from the train station and very central to the city of Oslo and many major attractions. The buffet breakfast was the BEST we have ever had in a hotel, top notch, lots of selection, fresh fruit, breads, cheeses, hot and cold items, eggs and omelets made to order. The staff were all pleasant and had a very helpful approach to all guests, both in the the restaurant and at the front desk. The room was nicely appointed, clean and comfortable. The ONLY issue we had with this hotel was the promise and uktimate failure to refund a portion of the cost because we downgraded the original category of the room we booked for the 1st two nights of our stay to a lower category so we could remain in the same room for the 3rd night (which was the first night of a group tour). The issue came about when upon checkout there was no refund and the front desk employee indicated there was nothing she could do to help us out. When we asked about a contact name and # for a supervisor, none were provided. This was a very disappointing end to an excellent stay.

This hotel was listed as one of the best in a good location in central Oslo so I booked it. The carpet in the main halls were dirty and I don't think they were cleaned even once while we were there. Outside of the door to our room someone has shattered a glass and the shards could be seen in the carpet. We asked the front desk everyday to have it vacuumed up but did NOT happen during our stay. Two major lights in our room did not work, I assumed that the bulbs were burned out. Everyday we asked that they be looked at and fixed but that never happened either. On our arrival to Oslo, one of our airline bags did not arrive. The airline was gong to deliver it the next morning. I went to the front desk and asked them to please notify me as soon as the bag was delivered and they said that they would. After waiting for hours the next day, I got a message from the company delivering the bag that said that they had delivered it over an hour earlier. I went to the front desk and they said, "let go look". They opened the bag room door and there was my bag that had been delivered earlier. No notification from the hotel as had been asked for. This was a HORRIBLE hotel and a horrible stay. Anyone thinking of staying there should look elsewhere.

So many ways this hotel seems nice but...room was very noisy, lifts could take up ages as the system allocates lifts, that at busy times are all full. Gym changing rooms like a hostel. But to cap it all, in a "decent hotel" the lobby toilets, require you to queue at reception to get a code to enter. Never had this in any form of decent hotel before, just seems crazy. Almost a nice experience but the toilets were the final straw.
