the place was very crowded (normal) which overlaated the elevator system which is fully automatic. the noise level in the lobbies due to the ambient music was high, the mattresses need to be changed (hardened at least). personel ws always nice and helpful. the location is great.

I have been coming here for four years now the hotel is very nice the rooms are clean the beds are very comfortable. The amenities like the Sauna, steam room are both really nice after a long night of being at a festival in a mosh pit etc. The staff is really nice, very professional. Conveniently located to train and metro hubs in city center, The Hub sparkled with youthful energy. Breakfast buffet was outstanding in variety, quantity and freshness of offerings, and the dining room was spacious. Room was clean, the bedding was comfortable, but the thermostat couldn't cool the room well and the lighting was insufficient. The mini fridge is stocked with costly options leaving no room for personal foodstuff. Excellent fitness spaces with weights, cardio machines, mats, balls and circuit trainers. Unfortunately the dry sauna and the jacuzzi were inoperable both evenings for us.

Nice hotel and at the center of Oslo. Easy to catch up a transportation. Friendly staffs. We just got some problem with the breakfast. My husband got so little food and I was stressed in getting food because the kitchen staffs removed the food early. There was a misunderstanding maybe with the time. Instead of closing the breakfast at 11am. They closed it at 10am. Many guests did not get breakfast. Otherwise the hotel is nice and comfortable.

The delicious breakfast is very well stocked and displayed with very good food. However, the behavior of the guests is appalling! I was bumped by people trying to get food. One man jumped in front of me, stretched his arm in front of me, grabbed a cup and filled it with coffee while I was clearly ahead of him in line, already holding an empty cup. The vibe in the dining room felt like sharks at a feeding frenzy. As an American, I’m sensitive to my countrymen behaving badly but I did not witness this at all! It appeared to be mostly big Europeans acting rudely.

Breakfast at a clarion hotel should be a bucket list experience! This is a lovely hotel. Quiet room with nice view of the city. Central location. Beds are very comfortable. Shower room was spotlessly clean. Staff are friendly. Oddly , we had a missing bedside table, thankyou to Nicolas for sorting the issue. Enjoyable meal at the restaurant on the 13th floor with great nigthtscape view. Spa was clean and a great addition to our stay. Second time i have stayed at a clarion and would not hesitate to stay again.

The hotel is right in the middle of the city center. It’s very convenient to go to many places from where the hotel is. Central Station is right across the street. The buffet was very nice and large filled with a whole bunch of different types of food. The gym was very nice, small pool sauna but a bunch of weight equipment and six treadmills three elliptical and a couple of other cardiovascular machines.We took a small room and we would not do that again. The small room is really SMALL. The hotel was really quiet.

breakfast was great. But was very disappointed with the fact they were renovating the spa I had picked the hotel for this. They should have communicated this when I was booking my hotel I chose this hotel main for this. This is the main reason for my initial low mark. The hotel should have arranged an alternative as these works require a long time if you are serious about providing a good service to the end customer personally I would have made this a top priority or offerred compensation so I could have used something in another hotel etc

Do not stay here if you have children. Children are clearly not welcome and they make that clear. Although the rules say “no children in the pool after 7:00 pm” you should expect the staff to come down at least one or two times while you are in the pool to make you feel unwelcome. Though all the kids including ours were respectful the stated policy is “this is a gym and relax pool” clearly not intended for children. Also expect repeated glares from breakfast and lobby staff. They are more than happy to have loud drunks around but not children. If you are traveling with kids I highly recommend seeking different accommodations.

Beautiful lobby, even better than the photos. Apparently was designed by Anemone. And lovely room fragrance. There’s everything you could wish for at the buffet breakfast and custom made omelette ready in 3 mins. I didn’t use the gym or swimming pool but good to have. The room was lovely. A bit hot but that got sorted. Enormous TV where I watched the nature programmes every day! Lovely shower, linen and comfy bed. The staff were friendly and professional. I loved the lobby bar and negroni cocktails. The room door was a puzzle to lock for me and the receptionist. However I worked it out by the second day. My tea bags and coffee brought from home got taken (in the trash probably) so it’s a good policy to keep things like that in the drawer.. they were replaced by similar so that was ok Great central location, everything seemed to be 10mins walk away! 5 mins walk from train station, 20 min fast train from airport. Very well planned locations Overall 10/10 and by far the most attractive and loviest smelling reception. Would definitely return - thanks x

Hotel is centrally located. 4 Staff at front desk are helpful. 4 Buffet breakfast is a nice option considering how expensive the city is. 5 Rooms are quite small and bed sizes are also small. We booked a family room for four and it was a tight squeeze. Two twin beds and a sofa bed. I was under the impression it would be at least a queen bed. 3 Also being that it is a central location, rooms facing the station are quite nosy at night. 2 This is important since the window needs to be opened for cooling the room.

We stayed at the Clarion a couple of times at the start and end of our trip. Main reason for selection is it’s close proximity to the train station. However we liked the hotel, as it is clean, modern, good amenities, a couple of bars, roof top restaurant, friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Breakfast as mentioned many times is vast and plentiful, if not a bit crazy and overwhelming at the weekend as very busy. Overall a really good, central hotel and would recommend.
