Even though this hotel is showing some age our room (Lakeview Room) was clean, spacious and had a fabulous view of Lake Wakatipu and the snow capped mountains of The Remarkables. Walking distance to the centre of town. Lots of cafes, bars and restaurants to choose from.

Great location — only about a 10-minute walk from the centre of Queenstown, but far enough away to avoid the noise and crowds. We had beautiful views of the lake and mountains to wake up to each morning. There was plenty of room for a family, the beds were comfortable, and the heaters worked a treat to keep the apartment warm during winter. The fully equipped kitchen was also really handy. The staff were very friendly and helpful and were happy to assist with every request we had. Overall, a comfortable and convenient place to stay with amazing views, and we would happily stay here again.

All was great. No complains. My friends and I were able to check in without much issues. We could see the mountain right outside our window when we woke up. Close drive to famous fergburger too, and we were able to get them to microwave our overnight food even though they didn't have an oven. Clean too, and we were able to check out with no hassle.

The room was clean and tidy. The transfer of noise from the occupants in the above room was annoying when children were not under control which went on until well after 9.30pm. The reception staff were prompt in sorting the issue out and contact us afterwards to inform us. Issue resolved smartly. Great breakfast which catered for all young and old. Lovely warm, clean rooms with comfortable beds and a great view. Good walking access to Queenstown Centre. The room had plenty of space and was equipped with a fridge. Our children loved the bath, which felt like a luxury. Only downside was our kids had to share a Queen bed - they would have preferred their own single bed each.
