Sonesta is your simple, but everything needed, next stay! The rooms aren’t top of the line resort stay, however, they are comfy and convenient, a good place to sleep - which is what most of us are looking for. Another great addition to Sonesta is they are pet friendly! There is a charge for your furry one to stay, however, I’d say that is pretty common wherever pets are welcome. Sonesta welcomed my dog with ZERO issues and even provided us some welcome gifts for our baby. All in all, will most likely be utilizing Sonesta for all of our Flagstaff trips moving forward.

We stayed there for 4 nights. The property is dated, but it was comfortable enough for our needs. The pictures make it look newer. No USB outlets; basic TV channels; a small kitchenette equipped with the very basics for 2. The hotel offers a basic continental breakfast. Gas stations, grocery stores, and a mall are nearby. This property is down the road from Walnut Canyon and less than 30 minutes from the Meteor Site and the Sunset Crater Volcano.

The property is quiet and vast with a beautiful large dog park for your furry friends The continental breakfast is great as well Our room was a bit dated. The air vent would rattle every time the AC kicked on and the icemaker is extremely loud. We were tempted to unplug the fridge.

We stayed in room 811. A king suite with full size refrigerator and stove. It also had a small coffee pot and standard size microwave in the kitchen. The small table had two comfortable kitchen chairs. The living area had a small loveseat and two small tables. The TV was a good size. The bed was very comfortable. Large bathroom sink area with a standard size closet. There was a small safe in the closet. Good hot water in the shower. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The front desk staff were very helpful. We would stay here again. The only con was I didn't see that there is a $5 a night parking fee. Just be aware of that.

Over all great value for the price. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The bed was clean and coming with a dishwasher was definitely a bonus. My only complaint is the couch is not very comfortable. I only used it when I was putting on or taking off my shoes versus for watching TV. If you plan on bringing a child, note that the sofa does pulled out, but it’s smaller than a loveseat so would not be adequate for a child under five or so unless they’re very small. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was decent. I would stay again.

The Room & king bed were great , window coverings didn’t adequately keep light out , pull out bed mattress on couch was horribly uncomfortable , springs had no padding !linens given by front desk for that bed were ratty and had holes in them ! •Nice size room for 2 people (1 king bed). •Full kitchen with full size fridge. Would be great for an extended stay. Kitchen is well stocked if you wanted to cook and eat in your room. •TV was very small, and hard to see from the bed because it was so far away. I suppose if you sat in the tiny uncomfortable "couch" you would be closer to the TV. •We were on the ground floor and could hear the people above us walking around all the time. Luckily we weren't in the room enough for it to bother us too much. •You can hear people outside the room very clearly. Our neighbors were up and outside at 0630am and were very loud, even with just talking we could hear it clear as day in our room. •The breakfast buffet was amazing. Great food choices (eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, hash browns, pancakes, yogurt, pastries/breads, etc). Everything was always well stocked. •My only complaint, and the reason I would not choose this hotel again, is that they charge a daily fee for parking. This hotel isn't downtown, or exceptionally close to anything. You have to jump on the 40 to get to NAU (or anything else, really). There isn't a whole lot around, so to charge a daily fee for parking is a deal breaker for me. There are lots of choices in Flag to stay, and none of them charge you parking.

Staff was very friendly. Our room was spotless and the 2 bedroom suite is a huge advantage for traveling with a family. The only downside was our room was on the 2nd floor and no elevator, but this was not a deal breaker for us.

I like the location and the relatively large space of the rooms. The breakfast IMO was good but my family didn't care for it. They had eggs, sausage. Pancakes were good but they would run out of batter like 15-30 minutes before the end of breakfast and refused to put out any more batter. The rooms were fairly dirty. I'm tall so I could easily see on top of lamps and they were really gross. That being said, I would stay here again and I've stayed here in the past.
