it was ok- good value for money but the hotel is not so clean and one lift was out of order and was not repaird and probaly will not and the hotel works with one elevator. if you want a cheap hotel novotel is good enough we were 4 people in the room and it was ok for 5 days

The property location was okay, due to the metro station being a 10-minute walk. Would not advise anyone to book this hotel if you want to be in the centre city. Overall cleanliness is fantastic and staff were friendly. Didn't spend much time in the hotel to understand the hospitality but for a short stay it was perfect. Would stay again if visiting milan in the future.

Rooms a little tired

The hotel is a little tired on the guest room level and could do with some freshening up. The air conditioning needs to be upgraded as it didn’t really provide effective cooling. Unfortunately the pool doesn’t open until June, so that wasn’t an option to have a cooling swim. Food was good overall, with a very enjoyable breakfast spread.

Excellent hospitality at breakfast but didn’t feel it during our stay really. Very disappointed you need a cap for the pool - they don’t tell you this till arrival. My son is autistic and won’t wear one so we had to not use the pool at all. Pillows were not good so asked for a change.

Having read a lot of negative reviews and having visited the Novotel in Paris in January (which was truly fantastic) I was nervous about my stay so wanted to leave this honest review as yes the rooms are quite small and could do with an update, and the outside area desperately needed the grass cutting but the staff, breakfast and accessibility to the metro were all fantastic. The only real point I’d make is that we travelled with our two young children and there is nothing to do around the hotel aside from a gelato shop (Milky Way - which you must try) so if like our kids you end up back at the hotel quite early maybe consider somewhere a bit more built up.

We stayed here for 1 night 1 total of 18 people and we were 16 people who called the desk to help us book a taxi. We ordered 2 cars for 8 people, and the desk told us that we needed 3 cars, but my other 2 friends, they went first, and we had 14 people left, and there were 2 taxis, and we saw that we could take 14 people, and then I and the service desk said can you cancel 1 car for us, and the desk agreed. We got in 2 cars, but the driver of the second car was abusive and threatened us on the way, saying that his colleague drove an empty car, and we offered to give his colleague 20euro as compensation, but the driver did not agree, and the driver threatened us because we were far away from the airport, and we were driven out of the car by the driver halfway and insisted that we sit in their third car, and we were in the car with 2 mothers and 5 children, and we were very scared, and we compromised, and we all cried, and the children were very scared. We were forced to pay 3 cars 160 euro equals 480 euro for the personal fare to the airport, and it had a very bad impact on our 5 children, I will not stay in this hotel in the future

Quite expensive for a hostel and service provided

Room smelled quite bad.It might be a toilet pipe thing and was not thoroughly cleaned. Towels were cleaned.Nice water pressure. TV with no remote control.We sked twice but after been told that someone would come to hand it to us, still waiting for it. Breakfast was continental style (no croissants/pastries) with:ham,cheese,lettuce,tomato,sandwich bread and rolls. Coffee,flavour water (not juice) and boiled eggs. Some apples. Toaster broke down so the pancake machine was on (no nice ones though). Coffee machine also broke down but coffee offered from the cafe area. It was not hot so no sure if AC worked or not. Location is great.There is a Carrefour supermarket like 10' walk from the hostel

Billederne af A & O virkede til at være gode, og synes kun jeg har haft gode oplevelser med det. Desværre var dette ophold ikke sådan. Det eneste at råbe hurra for var sengene og at det var relativt nemt at tage offentlig transport. Vand fra loftet i badeværelset, alarm grundet røg på et værelse, konstant lugt af røg, ikke fungerende ventilation. Men det må man vel forvente til prisen.

A equipe de funcionários é muito eficiente e agradável. O quarto estava limpo. Encontrei pequeno problema com gotas no banheiro, mas o banheiro estava totalmente funcional e satisfatório para limpeza pessoal. O café da manhá é razoável e permite que a pessoa comece o dia bem alimentado. A temperatura do quarto me pareceu ser automática e trouxe um pouco de frio interno, mas as opções de roupa de cama foram suficientes para amenizar a temperatura durante o sono. Enfim, tivemos uma estadia agradável de modo geral. A localização do hotel, que é relativamente afastada do centro, pode ser um problema para alguns hóspedes, mas no meu caso não vi problemas em chegar ao hotel através da linha de metrô.
