Beautiful hotel with a great breakfast. We stayed after the slamdunk festival. No issues with late check in, lots of parking, very clean, comfortable and quiet room. Sorted out an issue with Expedia not sending through confirmation I’d paid with them promptly and without fuss. Highly recommended, will definitely book for SlamDunk 2027.

We had a very enjoyable stay at The Comet London Hatfield and I would highly recommend the hotel. I stayed in Executive Room 308, which was an excellent size for one person, with plenty of space. My mum’s Executive Room (309) was similarly spacious, although the Executive Room (311) allocated to my wife and daughter was noticeably smaller, so it’s worth noting that not all Executive Rooms appear to be the same size. The cleanliness of all three rooms was immaculate and could not be faulted. The bed in my room was very large, making it extremely comfortable for one person and still spacious enough for two. Breakfast was perfectly adequate for the four of us. It wasn’t the very best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had, but it offered plenty of variety and was absolutely sufficient for our needs. The reception staff were outstanding throughout our stay — extremely friendly, welcoming, courteous and helpful, and I couldn’t fault them in any way. Parking was also excellent, with a very good number of spaces available both at the front and rear of the hotel. Overall, we had a very positive experience and I would happily stay at The Comet London Hatfield again.

I was very impressed with the accessibility of the room! I am experiencing some difficulty with walking at the moment and the room was very uncomfortable and well appointed. The only improvement I could think of would be a covered walkway to the new building, where my room was (juggling an umbrella, case and walking stick was impossible - so I just got wet!) All the staff were friendly, especially the young man in reception when I arrived and the lady in the morning when I was leaving!

The staff was very friendly and helpful with all of our questions. Location is close to University of Hertfordshire, shopping and bus stop to St. Albans. Room was spotless and comfortable. No coffee in the room. Just tea and cookies. Highly recommend this lovely hotel.
