Hotel is very nice and convenient for city. The swimming pool is in a strange set up involving climbing spiral staircase and a grotty cement set of stairs. Fridge in room didn’t work. Didn’t find out until next day when our food was spoilt Room clean. If you want breakfast book the night before as the price is much more expensive the next day. And this is a very expensive city

Beautifully maintained property with warm, kind and helpful staff. Our room was very nice, bed was super comfortable, and the cleaning staff were very attentive to ensure the room was clean and we had what we needed. The breakfast was amazing and even though there were alot of guests at breakfast, everything flowed with a high level of efficiency. We had to leave before breakfast on the last morning and the gentleman at the front desk ensured we had breakfast sandwiches to take with us. Everything I mentioned says a lot about the hotel, staff, and service on its own but we were also there during days when the hotel was fully booked. So, that’s an even higher level of excellence to me.

About the best thing you can say about this property is that it is in a good location. When the temperature is hot outside, the rooms are very warm. The staff said that while the rooms are ventilated, they really aren’t air conditioned. So they advised us to open the windows. The problem is there is a massive construction project across the street where work is done around the clock. So you can’t really open the windows and get any sleep. It looks as though this project will go on for years. There are much better options in Oslo.

Overall, I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and professional, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location and overall service met my expectations. Most aspects of the hotel were excellent. There were, however, a few disappointments. The biggest issue was the TV in my room. It would automatically reboot itself about every five minutes, making it nearly impossible to watch anything. This should have been caught before the room was assigned to a guest. The fitness center was also underwhelming. It is so long and narrow that there is barely enough room to do a simple yoga or stretching routine. While it has the basic equipment, the layout makes the space feel cramped. The indoor swimming pool was another letdown. It is extremely narrow—more like a creek than a swimming pool—so don't expect to swim laps or have much room to move around. Despite these shortcomings, everything else about my stay was very good. If the hotel addresses these facility issues, I would be happy to stay here again.

We were met by a rude and grumpy receptionist. She was supposed to notice housekeeping that our couples blanket was to be replaced with 2 singles blankets. She did not do that, so I had to follow that up when we got back to the hotel room late at night. Also, I have never experienced to run out of toilet paper in a hotel room before. There's a first for everything. Breakfast was fantastic! And both the breakfast and the cleaning personel were all very nice.
