My stay at Barceló Mexico Reforma was a mixed experience. While there were several aspects of the hotel that I genuinely enjoyed, my overall stay was overshadowed by repeated communication failures between management and the restaurant staff.
The room was comfortable, well-maintained, and of a high standard. I also enjoyed the breakfast selection, which offered plenty of choice and good-quality food. In addition, the room service was excellent, with both the quality of the meals and the service meeting my expectations.

It is not difficult for the catering team to hold a brief daily meeting to review which guests have breakfast tabs or special arrangements in place, ensuring all waiting staff are aware before service begins.
Although a manager apologised for the inconvenience, I was disappointed that I later had to remind him about the complimentary amenities I had been promised because of the original issue. These were eventually provided, and I appreciated that they honoured the commitment. However, the fact that I had to raise the matter again only highlighted the ongoing communication problems between management and the restaurant.
Overall, I don't dislike Barceló Mexico Reforma, but I have stayed in better hot
