This hotel charges $50 for early (a couple of hours before 3pm) check in, even though they had plenty of rooms ready. The only water in the hotel is a $10 bottle in the room or tiny glasses of filtered water from a basement dispenser tucked away from anything else. Their boiler was not working when I was there and they had no hot water. Great location.

This hotel was a third of the price of the next decent option, and we are so happy we chose it. From the cheerful and helpful front desk staff, to the large king room with so much space, and its location walkable to great restaurants and the metro. It was perfect for us. We were in town for a rugby game and a couple of days to explore. Yes, it’s an older building and shows a little wear and tear, but it’s clean, the bed is large and comfy with crisp linen, and the shower has great water pressure. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I recommend it.
