Kuopion Lappland Hotelli ei antanut lähellekään samaa ylellistä kokemusta kuin esim. Bulevardi Helsingissä. Kuopion rakennus oli vanha, mistä johtuen esim. wc-tiloissa ei ollut laskutilaa tavaroille riittävästi. Jouduimme myös vaihtamaan ensimmäisen huoneen voimakkaan tuoksun vuoksi toiseen. Respassa vaihto onnistui henkilökunnalta sujuvasti. Toinen huone eri kerroksessa oli tuoksuton, paitsi wc:ssä haisi viemärit. Aamupala oli onneksi taattua Lappland Hotels -laatua.
