Between cobblestones and spires, Main Market Square buzzes with life as horse-drawn carriages clip-clop past the Renaissance Cloth Hall. Inside, the Gallery of 19th Century Polish Art showcases national treasures worth lingering over. Wawel Castle looms magnificently on its hill – arrive early to avoid queues for the royal apartments and dragon's den below. After history overload, find respite in Jordan Park's greenery or splash at Park Wodny's pools. Town Hall Tower offers city views that explain why photographers crowd the square at golden hour. Little Market Square provides a quieter alternative when the main plaza overwhelms. For evening entertainment, cellar restaurants serve pierogi beneath medieval vaulted ceilings, often with live folk music.

Betmanowska Main Square Residence Adults Only
"Staff were exceptional from arrival to check out. Could not do enough. The room was huge and had an amazing view of the main square. Lots of facilities in rooms including everything included i.e. mini bar, snacks and a free goft of prosecco. Cleaned everyday to an exceptional standard. Breakfast had a fantastic choice or continental and cooked options. Really good location right on the main square. Really easy to get around everywhere. Hotel also has a bar, and 2 restaurants with a good variety of food options at great prices."
TRIBE Krakow Old Town
"Very good location, close to both train station and the Old Town, friendly staff, the room was clean and tidy, I love the water dispenser in the room that helps the environment also save the money for buying bottled water."
Radisson Blu Hotel, Krakow
"Excellent hotel and location for Krakow."
1891 Garni Hotel
"Great location for visiting Krakow close to restaurants and shops and about 15 min walk to the main square."
Balthazar Design Hotel
"This was a spectacular hotel and experience. From the moment we arrived to the second we left, each staff member provided exceptional service. We would return here for sure. In addition, their Michelin restaurant, Fortina,, provided a delectable dining experience. This hotel understands the meaning of service. A must if you're staying in Krakow."
Wyndham Grand Krakow Old Town
"Air conditioner didn’t work. Repeatedly was told it would be fixed and never was. Complained at check out and was finally given $50 off my stay. Unacceptable."
Hotel Unicus Krakow Old Town - Destigo Hotels
"The hotel is in a good location, directly next to the center square. Everything was walkable, with many dining and pub options. A thing to note about the hotel is that it is connected to a casino. One person in our group tried to find us a bar in the hotel to watch the World Cup Finals. He had to sign many documents in order to get in, due to it being in the Casino. That said, he received a free drink and won money. So, it was a win for him. Another thing to know, is this hotel, along with all hotels within the city center is a "no pick-up" zone. We had to walk a short distance to catch our tour bus to the Salt Mines. The walk was easy and we had no issues with our stay."
Hyatt Place Krakow
"Great hotel, clean, comfortable and spacious room."
Hotel Rezydent
"Everything was excellent in this hotel. The breakfast was great. The room was cleaned. The staff was helpful. We recommended."

This time frame allows visitors to explore significant landmarks such as stunning cathedrals, historical churches, and fascinating museums. Additionally, you can appreciate the art, monuments, and the grandeur of the castle, while also indulging in some enjoyable shopping and dining experiences. Overall, visiting during these months offers great value for money for travellers on a budget.

Begin in the DealsOpens in a new window section, where you could find enticing discounts. For those seeking last-minute escapes, the Last-Minute Deals section may show reduced prices on Kraków hotels near your travel date. Additionally, enable email alerts or push notifications for flash sales. Using the Smart Shopping tool via the app, you can compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you're more likely to see the best hotel deal in Kraków should prices drop or rooms become available.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate due to various factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates may help you find a better deal on your stay in a hotel in Kraków. If you're in search of something distinctive, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised experience and potentially offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we'll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If it appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest more affordable dates to assist you in finding a more attractive option.
- Consider your location: Opting for accommodation near key attractions or city centres can offer convenience, but it often tends to come with higher costs. For more budget-friendly options, you might consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between price and accessibility to the sights you wish to visit. Additionally, exploring independent hotels located a bit further out can provide a more authentic and potentially more affordable experience.
