"Hotel in good condition "

"Breakfast was very good. Room was dated but large. They were refurbishing the hotel when we were there, but we got an older room. Location was a bit far from train stations, but cabs are very affordable, so it didn’t matter. Overall a solid option for a family of 4 for a few days in Taipei. "

"The reception manager (she wore a dark jacket and I wish I had written down her name) was exceptionally kind and thoughtful. We had a very early departing flight and she made sure that we had a taxi and a morning snack with warm beverages to take for the ride to the airport. She made an effort to connect with us in a warm and congenial way that was above and beyond!"

"I think our floor had recently been renovated - everything felt fresh and clean. Bathroom was large with a soaking tub and standing shower area. We could not figure out how to get the shower door to stay closed the first night but after housekeeping came through the door stayed shut! There was a dehumidifier in our room to support the AC. Breakfast buffet was decent - the Taiwanese side was overall stronger than the Western side. The free laundry room was a godsend. Location was relatively convenient, especially steps away from a red line station. Did take some walking or travel to the better night markets and restaurants, but we wanted a quieter location. Very comfortable stay!"
